The cutoff was released for admission to BTech specialisations, for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quota. Among the General Home State category candidates, the closing ranks in round 1 was ranged between 439054  and 1394813.

Among the EWS Home State category, the cutoff ranks varied between 250247 and 510069. 

For candidates belonging to the General All India category, the closing ranks varied between 896795 and 1160387.

For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranged between 565809 and 1085515. The most competitive course for the General AI category candidates was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) with the Cutoff rank of 565809. The least competitive course was BTech in Electrical Engineering, with the Cutoff rank of 1085515. 

For the General Home State category, the cutoff ranks ranged between 284118 and 1173689. The most competitive and the least competitive courses for the General HS category were B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering respectively. 

Candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme can enrol for admission with Class 12 marks. Candidates must complete Class 12 to enrol for the BTech course. The college offers only one UG course, i.e., BTech. DPG Institute of Technology and Management admissions are based on the entrance exam.
