I don't know much about placements, and I have never gone through it too, So, you need to prepare yourself for higher studies to get better opportunities.

The college is good for the fees. If you are going to become an engineer, it is a decent choice.
Placements: Students who are serious about their studies definitely get placed. Some of them get packages of 30+ LPA, but those are off-campus placements. Most students get internships through the college in the third year. A few get them in the second year through their own efforts.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are good for CSE-related branches, but students in core branches like Electronics, Chemical, and BT may miss some facilities. Hostel facilities are below average. The food quality and taste vary a lot.
Faculty: Faculty is good for college exams, but you cannot expect much beyond that. Most faculty members have completed or are pursuing a Ph.D. Many of them are guest faculty. For deep knowledge, students often rely on online resources or the library. However, a few faculty members are highly knowledgeable and provide valuable career guidance.
Other: I want a government college, and this college suits my rank. The infrastructure could be much better considering the funds provided by the government. One annual fest takes place every year and includes cultural and sports activities. The UP Scholarship is also provided by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, ranging from Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 62,000.

It is an average college, but it is good for self-studying students.
Placements: There are about 30-40 percent of placements in the college, which I have seen over the past 3-4 years. The average package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. The highest package offered ranges from 19-20 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS and Wipro. My college does not provide internships, so all students apply for internships outside the college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms of my college just look like an average government school, but still, it has large classrooms, enough space, etc. Wi-Fi facility is available, but it does not cover all parts of the college campus. Labs are there, but students get labs whenever the practical exams are there. Hostel and mess facilities are not available. In the canteen, only some specific products are sold. No medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but they usually stick to the syllabus itself. Some of them are qualified and knowledgeable. In my opinion, the syllabus is good enough. Semester exams are not too hard, but conditional studying will be necessary. At least students should score 33 percent marks.
Other: I chose this course because my aim is to become a software engineer, and I love it. Apart from the syllabus, the institute has to focus on skills of every student. In my college, fests are organised by students themselves. Connectivity is not too good, but still okay.

My honest opinion regarding this college!
Placements: Honestly, my college is not good; there is no future scope for placement. Talking about placement, there is nothing like 4-6 LPA. Only 4-5 students got that, but the rest will become useless. No good recruiters like TCS, Google, or Amazon come here. There are also no internships. All the students apply off-campus for placement and internships.
Infrastructure: The college building is too old, and there is only the college building, which is also quite old. Some fans are not working. Labs are not well maintained. Wi-Fi is available, but the speed is totally low class. Hostel and mess facilities are not there. My college is about 15 acres only. Medical facilities are also not provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but some teachers are not good. Some of them have great knowledge, while others are not well qualified. Most of the syllabus is totally outdated. From that, students are not ready for the industry. College semester exams are easy, but most students study just 1-2 days before the exam, that’s why they don’t score good marks. About 33 percent is the passing mark for my college.
Other: I chose this course because coding is my passion, and I love to do it. The best thing about my course is programming. I am requesting the AKTU university to please add future skill subjects to your course so that it will be beneficial for all the students. Scholarships are provided by the college, and the campus crowd is not there.

Feeling bad about students of this college.
Placements: I have seen that only a maximum of 8 people got placed in this college. The range of the highest and lowest package is about 3–7 LPA. There is no surety whether companies will come or not. Students try for internships off campus. The top course is CSE, but students from other branches got better placements than the core branch.
Infrastructure: My college campus is about 15 acres. There is only one building where students go to study, practice, and more. The Wi-Fi quality is too slow. Classrooms and a small library are there. There is no proper hostel provided here. Most of the students stay outside.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful, and nobody focuses on our career. All the teachers come here and stick to the old syllabus. The syllabus is also very outdated and must be improved. If a student starts preparing just 15 days before the exam, then they will score good marks.

Dr. AITD Kanpur College is good for fulfilling our self-goals.
Placements: Our college placement is not too good, but it depends on the branch. The maximum number of students from BT and CH branches get placed, but placements from EL and CS branches are comparatively fewer. Most students prepare for entrance exams like GATE and achieve success through their willpower. Placements are available through both on-campus and off-campus opportunities. Companies rarely visit the campus, so you should not fully depend on the college and should prepare yourself.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good, but the old buildings need renovation as they are outdated. The college has a proper girls' hostel, and the mess food is good. For boys, only first-year students get hostel facilities. Recently, a new building, i.e., the CSE department building, was constructed on our campus. It is very good and is called the H Block. It has large classrooms, proper ventilation, and Wi-Fi. The campus also has a central library and an Atal Lab Centre.
Faculty: Faculty members are very experienced, talented, highly qualified, and very helpful towards students. In classes, they provide relevant and appropriate content related to the semester and guide students for placements. It gives them industry exposure. Semester exams are quite easy and can be scored well with normal study. The mid-semester exams are also easy. But they are important to attend as they help improve marks. The college conducts two mid-semester exams, and the best of the two marks is considered. Attendance of 75% is mandatory, which is helpful for students.
Other: On our campus, there are three major events, Aarohan, Shankhnaad, and Aaveg. These events are managed by our secretaries and are full of enthusiasm and energy.

No attendance issue. Really bad infrastructure. Don’t want to deal with any teacher.
Placements: The alumni of our college are doing really good. Most of them are in PSU and in IITs. In 2025, almost 20 to 25 students got placements, and all of them got an offer of 2 LPA. Some of them got even less. Our college is mainly famous for GATE results, but this year the GATE performance is also really bad. The highest placement by a college student is about 50 LPA, but off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really old and damaged. My classroom ceiling leaks, and there are not even working fans and lights in classes for Chemical Engineering. But the new department has good classes with fans and lights. There is only one smart class in the entire college with a digital board and AC.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good, while some are really bad. Some are really educated, like Poonam Nigam Mam, who has done her M. Tech from IIT Kanpur and her Ph.D. from Ohio State University. The college follows the AKTU curriculum, so it is old and irrelevant. Semester exams are not very difficult; I have passed my first year by just studying the whole night before the exam.
Other: Events and fests are not very good, just a little bit better than your school events (if you came from a UP Board school). The best thing about the college is that there is no attendance issue for almost all branches. So you can stay in your room and study if you want, or watch TV all day like most of us.
