It is a good college for all of you to join.

Placements: Our college had average placements. In our batch, almost 95% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.25 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Royal Enfield, CEAT, Apollo, etc., visited our campus. Internships were not offered.

Infrastructure: Our college had an excellent infrastructure. Our canteen and classrooms were good. Our classrooms were spotless and provided an ideal environment for learning. Our labs were average. Wi-Fi was not available throughout the campus. The library was good for studying. In our college, bus facilities were very good.

Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful. Semester exams were difficult. Our teachers were well qualified. They had excellent knowledge to teach students. Some teachers always tried their best to make students ready for the industry. Questions asked in semester exams were similar to those at the other colleges.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering because of my interest in learning about machines.

Faculty are not that good, some work has to be done here, placement is also not that great

Placements: The college tried to provide placements but the companies which came only offered a package of Rs. 10,000 per month or Rs. 1.2 lakh per annum. In computer science, most of the students were placed, getting a job of Rs. 10000-12000 but in other branches, the placement was even weaker. No MNCs were available except for one, and even that was a pool campus. Not a single company was there for civil. Some of the jobs were even for tech support/voice support (BPO). Most of the students were unplaced.

Infrastructure: The only thing this college is great at is its infrastructure. It is among the best you will find in Odisha. I can even say it is the best. Buildings are good and big. Classes are spacious. The library is huge and has all the required books. Wi-Fi is available, not for the whole day. But it will be available when the classes are not there. There is a lot of space for sports including gym, swimming, badminton, squash and table tennis. There is inter-competition going on between colleges most of the time. The medical facility is also okay, and you will get an ambulance if you are sick.

Faculty: The lack of good faculty members is hurting this institute. There are a few good faculty members but most of them are not qualified enough and are not providing enough guidance and support to the students. The students are on their own and pass their exams on themselves. All good faculty members have left the institute and have gone to some other institute, where they are paid more and are respected more. The management tries to provide classes, but they don't have enough knowledge to make the students entertain with their studies.
