DRIEMS University BTech is a full-time, four-year course spread across eight semesters. The course is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT). DRIEMS BTech is offered in six specialisations and they are as under:

• Mechanical Engineering

Candidates who have passed their class 12 with PCM are eligible to apply for the DRIEMS BTech course. The University accepts JEE Main/ OJEE scores to shortlist candidates for admission.

DRIEMS offers more than fifteen courses with various sub-specialisations. The courses are offered at undergraduate, postgraduate, Diploma and doctoral levels. The admission criteria for DRIEMS University courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. This institute is known for its four-year, full-time flagship BTech programme that offers admission based on the performance of the candidate in JEE Main/ OJEE. Apart from BTech, also offers MTech, MBA, BSc, BPT, and more, courses.

Yes, DRIEMS University offers various scholarship schemes to meritorious students and those belonging to SC & ST, Minority, and Other Backward Class Welfare departments as per the Government of Odisha for the academic year 2024-2025. Students who wish to apply for these scholarships need to apply online through the ODISHA STATE SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL.

 The eligibility criteria is specified below:
a) Students shall belong to the ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC community and should be permanent residents of Odisha.
b) The students must be a regular student for the academic year 2024-2024.
c) The annual family income of the parent/guardian from all sources in case of ST/SC students should not exceed INR. 2,50,000/- per annum.
d) The annual family income of the parent/guardian from all sources in case of OBC/ SEBC students should not exceed INR.2,50,000/- per annum and they have to secure at least 50% marks in previous examinations.
e) EBC category is applicable for Govt. Institute only.
