DCE's admission process for UG and PG courses is conducted in online mode only. The admission process to courses is either based on merit or entrance exam scores conducted at the national/ state level. Admissions to regular BTech programmes are based on four online off-campus counselling. During the first and second counselling, admission is made on the basis of JEE Main score. For the remaining seats, third and fourth counselling is conducted by HSTES to grant admission to the candidates based on Class 12 merit. Direct admission is also possible to BTech.
Candidates are required to qualify GATE with a valid score to seek MTech admission for admission to this course.
