Great faculty, infra, tech fests, good seniors, near metro, little social life.

Placements: Around 70–80% of students get placed according to previous data. The highest package is 54 LPA according to the college, but this is an off-campus placement, not on-campus. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Companies like Infosys and Accenture visit the campus. Around 50–60% of students get internships, mostly in startups, with roles such as software engineer and software developer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available on every floor. Classrooms are good, but not like top colleges. The library is also good. The food in the canteen is not very good. Medical facilities are available, but I have not needed them. The medical room is on the ground floor in front of the auditorium. Sports facilities are very good. Most students participate and win medals, trophies, and cash prizes.

Faculty: Most teachers have a Master’s degree in their subject, though some have only a graduate degree. I think this course is relevant, but the most important thing is improving your own skills. Semester exams are easy to moderate, and teachers are helpful, do not cut extra marks, and support students in their studies whenever needed.

Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE because I am interested in computer languages and learning how applications work. This field is in demand both now and in the future. I am improving myself through this course. The college does not provide many extracurricular activities, which is the worst thing about it.

I'm glad to take admission in this college.

Placements: 20 percent of students are placed in my course. I don't know about the packages offered, recruiting companies, and the percentage of students who got internships. I don't know about the roles offered in my course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. I don't know about the quality of the facilities of the hostel because I don't live in a hostel. The quality of the canteen in college is good, and the sports facilities of the college are also good.

Faculty: My teachers are very qualified, and they are very helpful. They help me every time. All the teachers are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams in this college is moderate.

Other: I chose this course because of its good placement. The best thing about this course is that we learn about programming and other things.

Pretty decent college if you want a new start.

Placements: Well, I myself am a first-year student right now, but as far as I have heard, the placement is quite decent in comparison to other lower colleges, and pretty good so far. The highest package I saw so far is 48 LPA. The companies do come here and give opportunities.

Infrastructure: Well, the infrastructure is quite unique from other colleges. The college looks good. You might find it short, but it's enough. The library is quite good with all the necessary resources. Food in the canteen is okay. The playground is pretty good, too.

Faculty: Well, the teachers I have seen so far are good at their job. The exams do make you engineering-ready. They try to develop the mindset a engineer needs in his life. The semester is quite medium-level. You just need to focus pretty well on what you are supposed to do.

Other: Well, I would say the college is decent. You can have a new start here. Having Computer Science engineering as your branch gives you the opportunity to explore.

It is a good college, better than Noida colleges.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are just like in school, and some classrooms are very good. The campus is good and very clean. Connectivity is good, and battery rickshaws are available. Labs are well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. The canteen is average, but Nescafé is good. Medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and complete their courses on time. There is not much pressure on students for exams. The college follows the main IPU curriculum. Faculty is highly educated, and the exam datesheet is provided by the main campus. Students are required to score 40% to pass the semester exams. The CSE faculty is good, especially the Maths and Physics teachers in the 1st year. They explain everything well. If you have any problems, you can ask teachers anytime, and they will help you.

Other: CSE is the top branch and is definitely good. It is the best option to start our career in this field. Every year, GGSIPU organizes on-campus events. This college also organizes events and small fests every year. College life is also good. There are many societies, and you get marks too, but you just have to put in a little effort.

Overall, it is a decent college and provides good value for money.

Placements: Placement scenario in our college is okay. If you have the right skills and knowledge, you can get a campus placement, but this is mainly for CSE-related branches. Other branches do not have many placement opportunities. So be careful while selecting this college.

Infrastructure: The college does not have any hostel facilities, which is actually a good thing because the campus location (Seelampur) is not very safe. It is better to look for PG accommodations near the Yellow Line metro, where you can find good PGs. Other than that, the campus is good, clean, and has all the basic facilities.

Faculty: Teachers in this college are really helpful. They provide ample study material and also train students for the end-of-semester exams. Some teachers are quite new and have little experience, but others are experienced and good. The college conducts exams every 2–3 months.

Should I do B.Tech in CSE from NIEC or B.Sc in CS from DU? My 12th class percentage is 94.25% (best of four) and IPU CET 2018 rank is 3600.
