The placements and the faculty are good in Jamia Millia Islamia University.
Placements: Jamia has an active placement cell for law internships and placements. It provides an opportunity for students to be placed in good law firms or practising lawyers. Last year 70% of the students were placed in law firms and the highest salary offered was of 10-12 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The law faculty has a building which is shared with commerce department. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and have a seating capacity of at least 55 students easily. Every year inter-faculty tournaments take place in which law students of every year of law faculty participate and compete against each other in various sports including basketball, football, badminton, table tennis etc. The faculty is also equipped with Wi-Fi facility and computer lab along with a library for law students only.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and experienced, apart from that they are extremely friendly and helpful. Most of the faculty is permanent, and there is guest faculty used for subjects when the permanent faculty is not available. There are 35 students in 1 class. The teaching methods are great and are constantly improving. The teachers share past law-related experiences, and the classrooms are not at all boring.
Other: The campus crowd is amazing, and we had our first law fest this year named 'Tabeer'. The fest was a great success, and apart from that, Jamia organises national moot every year. The campus is greenery and bigger than other campuses in Delhi.
