Candidates who have Bachelor's Degree from any recognised board, are eligibile for the FDDI MDes Programme. Also candiates must appear for the AIST (All India Selection Test), which qualifies the candidates for admission to the MDes programme. FDDI offers MDes in Footwear Design and Production Technology. Yes, admission dates for admission 2025 is out for MDes at FDDI. Admission to the MDes programme is based on the FDDI All India Selection Test (AIST). Therefore, candidates have to watch out for the AIT admission dates. Application is open for the AIST exam and will be open till the second week of November. The AIST exam will be held in the month of January.

Master of Design (MDes), with a duration of four years is divided in eight semester. The first two semester of MDes, will be a 'Compulsory Foundation' year where a basic knowledge of Design, Design principles, process, 2D & 3D CAD, Materials, will be imparted. In the last semester the students will be taking up Design Project/Research Project. Industrial internship is in built in the curriculum. The curriculum has been designed by a team of experts from IIT- Delhi. Yes, Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) is a government institute.The Footwear Design & Development Institute was founded in 1986 by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Government of India. It has also been declared as the Institution of National Importance under the FDDI Act 2017. To get admission to this government college, candidates must have valid score in accepted entrance exam which is  FDDI AIST.

The age limit for Footwear Design & Development Institute is maximum 25 years as on 1st July 2024, for the undergradute programme. AS for the MDes candidates the institution doesn't mention any age limit. However, candidates must have bachelor's degree in any discipline, for admission to the MDes.

FDDI Noida cut off changes every year. In general, the basic eligibility criteria for the college is past academic records and a valid score in FDDI AIST and other accepted entrance exams. Candidates must known the FDDI AIST syllabus. Candidates must prepare according to the FDDI AIST Exam Pattern. Prepare well for the entrance exams as the competition is high and the seats are limited.

No, you cannot join FDDI Noida directly. Admissions to all FDDI campuses are done through the All India Selection Test (AIST) for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. For direct admission to FDDI, you would need to have a valid UCEED score for the B.Des programme or a valid national level entrance exam score for the other programs.
