Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2026

I am fully satisfied with my college faculty members.
Placements: A minimum percentage required for arts students is 60. Sometimes, even students with less than 60% are accepted. At my college, no package is offered to any students, but through my course, students can get a job at IT companies or other organizations. The role offered is usually a staff position in IT companies or similar roles.
Infrastructure: In our college, Wi-Fi, desks, and benches, and a clean environment were present. We also had a gym, but facilities were not very good. We still enjoyed whatever was available in our college. There were no medical facilities. Since I did not stay in the hostel, I do not have information about it.
Faculty: Our teachers are knowledgeable and highly qualified. Only some teachers are not highly qualified, but overall, the way they teach is good. Semester exams are not too difficult. If we study properly, we can pass. Otherwise, we may not. Faculty members I got were good and average.
Other: I chose this because I wanted to study commerce, but I did not get the required percentage, so I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that I understand the concepts well. I can apply for government jobs. The college conducts many events and festivals such as Saraswati Puja, Durga Puja, Holi, fresher’s, farewell, and others.

Good faculty and supportive environment with a decent infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: Around 70-80 percent of students from my course got placed. Highest package offered was around 8-10 LPA, lowest was around 2-3 LPA, and average package stood near 4-5 LPA. Some of the top recruiters included companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and HDFC Bank. Nearly 50% of students also got internships, mostly through campus drives, in companies like HCL, Deloitte, and local startups. Top roles offered were Software Engineer, Analyst, Associate Consultant, and Marketing Executive, depending on the stream.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good with spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, and access to Wi-Fi in certain areas. Laboratories and seminar halls are available for academic purposes. Hostel facilities are average but manageable, with decent food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are available, and the campus also has sports and cultural activity spaces that help in overall student development.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their subjects. Teaching quality is good, with a focus on both theory and practical aspects. Curriculum is relevant but leans more towards academics than industry exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult but fair, and most students clear them with consistent preparation. Overall pass percentage is quite high, showing that the faculty puts in effort to guide students.
Other: I chose this course because I was genuinely interested in the subject, and the college has a good reputation in the region.

It was quite good for completing your graduation.
Placements: Only a few students from our batch were placed through the college. The placement rate was around 10-15%. Most students go for higher studies rather than campus placements. There were limited on-campus recruitment drives. The average package offered was around 2.5 to 3 LPA, with the highest being around 4 LPA. Internships are not actively provided by the college, and students usually have to find them on their own. Top roles offered were mostly in the education, sales, and customer service sectors.
Infrastructure: The college has basic infrastructure. Classrooms are spacious but not very modern. Wi-Fi is available in some areas, but the speed is often slow. The library has a decent collection of books, but the reading space is limited. Labs are not very well-equipped for practical learning. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are shared, and cleanliness can be improved. The mess food is okay but lacks variety. There are limited sports facilities, and medical services are minimal.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, but not all of them are equally experienced or updated with modern teaching methods. Some teachers are helpful during doubts, while others just follow the textbook. The curriculum is quite theoretical and not very industry-focused. There is a lack of practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable if you study regularly. The overall pass percentage is decent, but toppers mostly rely on self-study and coaching.
Other: Option 1 (Balanced): Decent college with basic facilities, average placements, and scope for improvement. Option 2 (More Critical): Average teaching and infrastructure, placements are low, and not industry-focused. Option 3 (Positive but honest): Good environment for graduation, but placements and practical exposure need work.
