Effectiveness of Placement Cell

* According to several students, the college's placement cell is quite effective, especially for Computer Science (CS) students. [Student Quote]
* Students report that many companies visit the college for campus drives, including TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, DXC Technology, and others. [Multiple Student Quotes]

Good for the upcoming future.
Placements: Placements at our college is above average and mostly all branches students got placed. There are students in Electronics and Telecommunication who got placed in Accenture, TCS, Wipro, and other companies. Many students are placed in the IT sector and get salary packages of 5 LPA-6 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA-20 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available for both boys and girls. Wi-Fi, a gym, a mess, and a few indoor games are available in the girls' hostel. Study room is also available. The quality of food and other facilities provided are good.
Faculty: Teachers from every department are good. In particular, teachers from the Electronics department, 18 teachers have a Doctorate and Ph.D. in a specific subject. The theoretical curriculum is just to gain knowledge, but the practicals are conducted for the understanding of the subject. Semester exams are not very difficult as the questions are based on the given syllabus.
Other: I joined this college in 2022 and our batch's pass-out year is 2026. The best thing about our course is that we have been taught by teachers who are well-educated and have a good knowledge of the subject. My only suggestion is that the college should focus more on improving practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Every event is celebrated in the college as well as in the hostel.

Welcome to G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management.
Placements: About 70%-80% of students get placed in the AIML branch. The highest salary package last year was 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 1 LPA-2 LPA. Around 30 to 40 companies visit our college, with top recruiters including Tata, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, and others. The average salary package is about 4 LPA-5 LPA. The college also provides internships to students. They help students participate in various SIHs and coding boot camps.
Infrastructure: Overall, infrastructure is good. The campus is also nice and includes separate girls' and boys' hostels with gym and swimming pool facilities. There are two libraries, one for each building. Canteens are available on campus. The hostel also has a reading room. The food is quite good.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive. Teachers are experienced, and the syllabus is quite relevant to the course. As it is an autonomous institute, it has its benefits. The college has its workshop to gain practical knowledge. It also has various labs, such as the Physics lab, Chemistry lab, and many computer labs.
Other: The college has its fest called Antaragi. The crowd is quite good. College also provides government-provided scholarships.

Not satisfied with the infrastructure, very expensive. Spend your money wisely.
Placements: Ethical hacking is the top role offered for cybersecurity professionals. There are also roles like penetration testing, malware development, and cybersec course. From our college, I don't think anyone got such *** sounding roles, as our branch is new and India doesn't have a hacking culture, which creates a bit of a problem. There is also a scene about internships; most of the people get internships through their connections, and the college does very little to help students with internships, and teachers are not professionals.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the worst aspect of this college as they have smaller buildings compared to other colleges in Pune. Also, the hostel is one of the worst things; they have very bad food and no facility that can convince you to pay such large fees. Infrastructure is poor, and they have no campus.
Faculty: Well, it's a plus point of the college that they do have good courses and worthy subjects. Also, teachers are well-educated and teach at the engineering level. Additionally, a bunch of extracurricular activities happen in college including hackathons, coding competitions, and various clubs and club activities.
Other: Very small campus. Our first year is about to complete and still haven't got a fresher's party. There are no parties and social clout, though if you manage to get into a good group at the start of your college, you might get a good college life.

Decent placements and vibrant campus, but needs curriculum and facility upgrades.
Placements: The course offers 70% placements with TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Barclays recruiting. Top roles include Software Engineer, Analyst, and Consultant. Packages range from 3-15 LPA (avg 4-6 LPA). Internships in similar firms provide industry exposure, aiding career growth.
Infrastructure: The course offers Wi-Fi, classrooms, labs, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are decent with clean rooms, Wi-Fi, and 24/7 water. Mess food is average, with a canteen for snacks. Medical facilities and sports options like football, badminton, and a gym are available.
Faculty: The teachers are generally helpful and qualified, with moderate knowledge of industry trends. Teaching quality is average, focusing on theory over practical skills. The curriculum is somewhat relevant but needs updating for industry readiness. Semester exams are of medium difficulty, with a pass percentage of around 75-85%.
Other: I chose this course for its career opportunities in a growing field. The best aspects are good placements and exposure to technical skills. Improvements needed include an updated curriculum, better labs, and a practical focus. Fests, events, and extracurricular activities are active, with a lively campus crowd. Connectivity and surroundings are average but manageable. Scholarships and financial aid are available for eligible students.

Good placements in 2023, really good infrastructure and facilities, etc.
Placements: 70 to 80 percent students are placed in our college. The highest package offered in our college is 45 Lacs and the lowest package is 3.5 Lacs. ENTC, CS, IT, AIML, and many courses are available in our college. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Out of 10 students, 8 to 9 students got internships in TSL and other companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is very nice. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are very useful facilities in the hostel. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are available in our college, and the food is of very good quality.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very impressive. Exams are very strict and difficult. The passing percentage is 45 to 50 percent. Industry visits are conducted in our college. The teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful for the subject and other activities.
Other: Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are very nicely conducted. Various types of clubs are in our college, so the college is very nice.

The college life here is good but it doesn’t have a good crowd.
Placements: For the year 2023-2024, the highest placements record was that of 22 Lacs per annum offered by a Japanese company NutanX. The student who got this offer was from Information Technology department. For the year 2022-2023, the highest placement recorded was 45 Lacs per annum which was given by Amazon to a student from Information technology as well. Average package offered this year was of 5.67 LPA and that of last year was 6.79 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has two main buildings including A-Building & E-Building. The campus is very small. The curriculum of the course in divided into categories of CAE having CAE-1, CAE-2, CAE-3 and TAE having TAE-1, TAE-2, TAE-3, TAE-4. The exams conducted in the end are the end-semester exams. The difficulty level of the syllabus as compared to SPPU’s pattern is low. I will rate the hostels 6/10 regarding the management and 5/10 in terms of infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty here is neither too good nor too bad. Some of the faculty members are highly qualified but they are not really interested in teaching the students, they just want to get done with the lectures, while there are some faculty members who are really caring towards the students’ future and are really hardworking. There are 3 CAEs and 4 TAEs conducted along with the end-semester exams. CAE is the Class assessment examination and TAE is the Teacher’s Assessment examination.
Other: I personally chose the course of Data Science because it has a good future.
