Admissions are based on the student's performance on the Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test, admission is determined through counselling (MHTCET) and JEE Main exam. JEE Mains, however, will be preferred above MHTCET. Alternately, the candidate must have completed a diploma in engineering and technology and received at least 45% of the possible points (45% for candidates from Maharashtra State who are members of the backward class, EWS, or PWD). The applicant must have passed class 12 or an equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as required subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subjects, Computer Science, IT, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies, and must have earned the above-mentioned marks 45% (40% for candidates from Maharashtra State who are from the backward classes, EWS, or PWD).
