B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2028
3.4
Enriched college and campus life.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is nice, with about 60% getting placed and receiving packages. The highest package is around 20 LPA, and the recruiting process is awesome. The roles offered are good. Through this, students become familiar with the recruiting process from the first year, making the most of their time with great interest and support from the team.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also good, and the locality is decent. It may look like a city, but in reality, it is a village, not Pune city. The city for students is nice to see. You should focus on good time utilization. It's a place where you can stay for a few years.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. You would love to give your best to do well in your studies and put a lot of effort into your life. Proper time utilization can lead to personal growth in the future. Long-term success depends on the student's nature.
Other: You may love the thoughts and happiness you have enjoyed over the years.

Very small campus area but still has good academics; teachers are well-experienced.
Placements: Placements are good enough if you're a hard-working student and have the required skills. Many tech clubs are available that help to develop skills. Internship offers are mainly discovered by students. Companies have a criteria of at least having a CGPA of 7 or 7.5 or more.
Infrastructure: Well-maintained labs are available for every department, and there are well-experienced faculty available in the college. The college library is well-maintained. We barely have sports events annually, with only limited sports such as cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, chess, and table tennis.
Faculty: Teaching quality is overall good and helps in every situation if students are curious to know about anything. The semester exams are not too difficult, but the more you study, the more marks are achievable easily. The course curriculum is mainly focused on the branch you choose.
Other: There is a lack of fests and events; only the annual gathering is the fest in this college, but they are more focused on seminars held by famous persons from that particular field.

GHRCEM Pune : The reality.
Placements: This year is going to be the 1st placement of the Cybersecurity batch, as this course started in 2021, so there is no data on Cyber Sec placements. But if I talk about placement in general, the highest last year was 25 LPA, and the lowest is around 3 LPA, with an average of around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: They have many computer labs and many computers, but I would say they aren't that well-equipped or maintained. The college recently bought new computers which work great, so I would say it's on the okay side. Labs are good, but the teaching is not up to the mark.
Faculty: The faculty members might lack teaching materials or training, but they are very supportive when it comes to students venturing out and learning new things. They will help you along the way. They cover the course properly, but the course itself is at a basic level.

It is absolutely a good college as it is autonomous.
Placements: According to our technical knowledge, there are best placements. I'm an AI, so I don’t. Batch: 2023-2027, B.Tech CSE Cyber Security. Placement: 90%. The highest: 20 LPA, the lowest: 4 LPA, Avg: 8 LPA. Top recruiters: Google, TCS, Infosys. Internships: 75%, companies like Microsoft & Amazon. Roles: Software Dev, Data Analyst, AI Specialist.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Facilities: Wi-Fi-enabled campus, advanced computer labs, smart classrooms, well-stocked library. Hostels: Clean rooms, 24/7 power, decent food in mess/canteen. Medical aid available. Sports: cricket, football, gym. Overall, supportive and modern infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful. Passing exams is not a big deal if we attend regular classes. We can score a CGPA above 9. Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. The teaching quality is practical and student-focused. The curriculum is industry-relevant with hands-on projects, making students job-ready. Exams are moderately difficult; pass rate is around 85-90%.
Other: There are many events. I chose this course for my passion for teaching and problem-solving. Best parts: hands-on projects, coding, and new tech exposure. Improvement areas: more industry tie-ups and electives diversity. The campus has vibrant fests, friendly crowd, good connectivity, scholarships, and rich extracurricular activities.

The college is very nice. You would like it.
Placements: Students are getting placed in good companies like Accenture, IBM, Veritus, and many more. The highest package placed in the college was 45 LPa, and the lowest was around 3.5 LPa. The average package is 4 lpa.
Infrastructure: The college has a lot of labs, classrooms, a library, and seminar halls. The hostel is not so good, and the mess is very poor, but we can get a PG or a flat at a good price. The mess outside the college is good. There are many canteens and medical facilities. The college has wifi in the library only, so it does not provide wifi throughout the college.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated and experienced, and the understanding between students and teachers is very friendly. The college is autonomous, so the semester exams are conducted by the college and are not very stressful. As a result, the students pass with excellent CGPA.
Other: The college should fix the lifts and increase the size and capacity of the lifts; it would be very efficient for teachers and students.

Not satisfied with the infrastructure, very expensive. Spend your money wisely.
Placements: Ethical hacking is the top role offered for cybersecurity professionals. There are also roles like penetration testing, malware development, and cybersec course. From our college, I don't think anyone got such *** sounding roles, as our branch is new and India doesn't have a hacking culture, which creates a bit of a problem. There is also a scene about internships; most of the people get internships through their connections, and the college does very little to help students with internships, and teachers are not professionals.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the worst aspect of this college as they have smaller buildings compared to other colleges in Pune. Also, the hostel is one of the worst things; they have very bad food and no facility that can convince you to pay such large fees. Infrastructure is poor, and they have no campus.
Faculty: Well, it's a plus point of the college that they do have good courses and worthy subjects. Also, teachers are well-educated and teach at the engineering level. Additionally, a bunch of extracurricular activities happen in college including hackathons, coding competitions, and various clubs and club activities.
Other: Very small campus. Our first year is about to complete and still haven't got a fresher's party. There are no parties and social clout, though if you manage to get into a good group at the start of your college, you might get a good college life.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 80 to 90% get placed. The highest salary package is 34 LPA, 18 LPA is the average salary package, and 8.5 LPA is the lowest salary package. Top recruiting companies are Byjus, Amazon, Cognizant, etc. Around 100% of students got internships for 6 months.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Infrastructure is good and large. Wi-Fi is available. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are well equipped. Different labs are available for different departments. There are 2 central libraries available.
Faculty: Teaching staff is helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for the industry up to 4th year. End-semester exams are tough but if you prepare well then it's not hard.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the cyber field. The best thing about this course is cyber security will be in great demand in upcoming years.

Our college will give a good engineering life.
Placements: More than 200 companies visit for placements which is very high. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, Google, Flipkart, TCS, etc. are the companies offering placements. The highest salary package is 16 LPA. Around 150 students got placed.
Infrastructure: Hostel is the best. The courses are very good and updated syllabus as per the new technologies. College provided a hostel facility for Rs.72,000 yearly. Hostel provides food, a gym, and a sports room facility. Infrastructure is awesome.
Faculty: Faculty is very good and have done Ph.D. They are very enthusiastic to teach. They motivate students to take part in other curriculum activities. It is the most advanced course in the Engineering field. Faculty-student ratio is 1:30. Most of them are good at teaching. In one year 2 term exams are held and it is moderately difficult.
Other: It gives a very good college life. Antaragni, technorian, and parakram are the fests. There are forums run by various students from different branches.
