GITAM MBA courses are two year courses that are offered in fulltime mode only. MBA at GITAM is offered in only the general MBA course which is open to admissions for working professionals. Candidates choose their specialisation by selecting subjects that are specific to their preferred specialisation. The GITAM MBA admissions are entrance based where, the candidates can either appear for the CAT or MAT entrance exams. GITAM MBA Admission Dates 2025
The GITAM MBA admission dates are directly in line with the CAT and MAT exam timeline. The CAT entrance exam dates are scheduled between the months of August and December. The MAT entrance exam dates are scheduled in the month of August and September. The admission deadline for candidates who wish to apply for GITAM MBA admissions through the CAT exam is 13 September in the year 2025. This date is the last date to register for the CAT 2025 entrance exam. This date is very close at this point of time. Hence, all candidates are advised to register for the CAT exam as soon as possible if interested in the GITAM MBA admissions.
MAT exam 2026 exam dates for February session has released. MAT CBT and PBT will be conducted on March 8 and March 1, 2026.

GITAM MBA course admissions are decided by a candidate's performance in the CAT or MAT entrance exams. STEP 1: Registration for the Entrance Exam
Registration for the entrance exam is the first step of the GITAM MBA course. The two entrance exams that candidates can choose to appear for are the CAT and MAT entrance exams for MBA admissions. Candidates can register for either exam by visiting the official portal for each of them and following the instructions on the announcement circular. After the candidate has registered for the entrance exam, they must appear for the entrance exam on its scheduled date.
STEP 2: GITAM MBA Admissions 2025
Once the candidates have appeared for their chosen entrance exam, they will be called for counseling rounds if they score an appropriate rank. Here, the candidates will lock their choice of campus for the MBA course. Candidates will need to lock GITAM if they wish to enrol in the MBA courses offered by it. After the counseling rounds are over, candidates can visit the official website of GITAM (www.gangainstitute.com) and fill out the application form.
STEP 3: Confirmation of Admissions
After the candidate has filled the admission form, they will need to attach all the necesary documents to the application form before submitting it. Candidates will need to attach the following documents with the MBA admission form:
- Matriculation/ High School Certificate (DOB) .
- 12th /Intermediate/Equivalence Certificate.
- Graduation Certificates (Mentioning Qualifying Marks)
- Aadhar Card (if available)
- Migration Certificate
- 6 colored Photographs
Once all the necessary documents have been attached, candidates need to pay the GITAM MBA application fees for final submission. The institute will connec with the candidate if they get selected for the MBA course offered by GITAM. To confirm the seat allotment received by the candidate, they must pay the GITAM MBA admission fees.
