Review of Gauhati Commerce College.
Placements: Few students in our batch got placed as only a few companies visited our college for placement. The top recruiting companies were Pepsi, Coca-Cola, etc. The highest package was 5 LPA and the lowest package was 2 LPA. Many students got internships in my course in companies such as OIL and IOCL.
Infrastructure: College hostel is very good, offering the students various facilities including 24×7 Wi-Fi, classrooms, and a library. The quality of food in the hostel is very good and very hygienic to eat. The medical facilities are also up to the mark, as well as the sports and games in the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified in their field of subject, carrying expert knowledge and professional experience. Their teaching quality was very updated. Yes, this course curriculum is very relevant as it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams were moderate, and the pass percentage was near up to 95%.
Other: I chose this course because it offers the best education in our region. The syllabus needs to be updated for a few subjects as it is no longer relevant to us. There were many cultural events in our college, the campus surroundings were very pleasant, and many students also got scholarships.

Gauhati Commerce College is an excellent college for students.
Placements: 70% of students are placed, with the highest package of 12 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. At least 79% of students get internships. The college has a great reputation in Assam and is ranked among the top colleges.
Infrastructure: The college campus is massive, and it's even constructed more. The building structures are great, with air conditioning in every classroom. There are garden in the college, and a huge parking spot for motor vehicles. A basketball court is also under development.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The professors are good, and their teaching methods are also good. The teaching quality of the teachers is top-notch. Exams are hard, but with the guidance of teachers, they're intermediate. 90% of the students passed, and every student was guided by teachers. Teachers are very supportive.

All about Gauhati Commerce College.
Placements: I am studying right now in 2nd semester, so I still haven't experienced placements. But I have heard from many students that placement is quite decent and many people got placements in banks and companies. But for getting more better salary you have to study in IIMs.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in BBA building have ACs in each class which helps so much on hot days. Classrooms are also beautiful and have projectors in each class which helps to make studying much more enjoyable. But not always the projectors are used in the regular classes.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our studies and they are very knowledgeable and qualified. BBA course is a professional course so obviously it makes students industry-ready as this course includes practical activities also such as seminars for internal marks. Semester exams are not that difficult. If you study then it will be easy for you or else you may fail.
Other: The college events are so enjoyable, so many events happen in this college.

Nice faculty members but not good placements and opportunities.
Placements: There are about 600 students per batch and each section then has about 100 students. It becomes such a hotch potch in classrooms. I have rarely seen students getting internship as I'm also trying getting internship through college but unable to get. Campus placements happen but not much beneficial.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but can't be used and is not for students. Library lacks infrastructure. Classrooms are a total fish market with no provisions for summer. Steps are broken. Lack of hygiene and cleanliness especially washrooms. In canteen, most food is mostly available and gym is generally closed.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some are very arrogant though. You can't rely completely on the course and the college activities. The teaching quality is okay. Semester exams are fine. Some papers can be difficult, some average, and some easy. Pass percentage is 35%.

Gauhati commerce College for M.Com is recommended .
Placements: Almost 80% students were placed in this course. Everyone passing out gets chance to teach here. The college itself is the top recruiter. Almost 70 %gets internship in this college it self. Provide a good education environment. The top student get placement in the college itself.
Infrastructure: The hostel used to be in good condition. But presently due to construction it's a bit bad now. Otherwise the dean is very good and the food is also good. Everything is clean and very maintained. No cash eof ragging. The students here live with pace and have a friendly environment.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and have a good experience. They maintain a friendly relationship with the students this also boosts the confidence of the students. The knowledge of the teachers are of a great help. The semester exams are tough but the teaching style makes it easy we are very clear with the concepts.
Other: This course here is the best almost 100% internship and placement. The timings could have been a bit better. Classes are sometimes at odd times alte in the evening. We have frequent fest and events organised by departments. Its exciting to join such fests.
