Review of GIET Engineering College.

Placements: Big companies come here, and sometimes, the maximum package offered is 15.8 LPA. Placements are available in the 3rd year, 2nd semester. Top companies are TCS, CTS, and others, for electronics and software jobs. Maybe 60% of students get placed.

Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are available for every branch. It labs and a library. Wi-Fi and smart labs are available in this college. Sports events, medical facilities, hostels, canteen, sports and games, are also available.

Faculty: Farewell, tests, fresher's party, extracurricular activities, sports, gymnastics, environment activities, and BPL (cricket matches) are conducted. Our college has cool mineral water facilities and many other facilities. The faculty members are well educated and well-mannered.

Other: Our college provides many placements in different companies.

I am absolutely satisfied because of faculty and placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: In our college approximately 80% percent of students placing every year, and the package offered by the companies are the highest package is approximately 12 LPA and the lowest package is approximately 3 LPA, And companies recruiting are TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. , and nearly 70% of companies giving internship from top most MNC's.

Infrastructure: In our college we have so many facilities for students like Wi-Fi, fully loaded laboratories and classrooms containing projectors and libraries containing lots of books which are helpful for both academic and competitive exams, coming to hostel there are neat and clean classrooms and healthy food available for students, canteen contains all types of snacks and play grounds for playing sports and games.

Faculty: Lectures in our are highly knowledge and professional who have completed Ph.D. and delivers the lectures in easy and understandable way. By teaching the lessons in practical way so students are completely ready to work in industries, because in our college lectures gives more importance to do things in practical way than in theoretical way.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in both hardware and software, there nothing to improve in my course it is up to date, there are so many events are organised by our college every year like maitri, medha etc.

Review of GIET Engineering College.

Placements: In our batch, less than 10% of the students got placed here. The highest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA by Tech Mahindra. The salary package offered by Virtusa was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tech Mahindra and Virtusa visit our college for our batch placements. Our college does not provide an internship for our batch students. Roles like trainee, software engineer and an associate engineer are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: Labs are available for the namesake, and the majority of the equipment used to work. Junior lecturers are not that approachable. Wi-Fi facility is not available here. The library is available only to read newspapers and distribute textbooks. We are not allowed to spend some time to sit and read in the library. Quality of the food served in the mess and canteens is top-notch. Medical facilities are not available, and there was not even first aid available during our time. Our college only provides volleyball after college hours for boys.

Faculty: Some senior faculty in our college are highly qualified, experienced and highly knowledgeable. Their teaching used to be strict, but for a few subjects, there are no experienced professionals. For some subjects, M.Tech graduates used to conduct classes. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry, but it does not make students industry-ready. Subjects are taught to get marks rather than to gain knowledge.

Other: I have chosen this course to become job-ready with electronics and software profession. I wish the college should make students industry-ready, and it should make teaching fun. Events and fests are organised at our college. Campus connectivity is good. Our campus is huge, which accommodates three other colleges inside it.
