I had a good experience and college life.

Placements: Currently, I am a third-year student, and most of my seniors have been recruited in various firms. Many have started their own ventures. The packages are about 4-5 LPA. All students will be given a chance for an internship in their 4th year.

Infrastructure: GIA provides fine infrastructure and facilities. The college has a library, material lab, and computer lab for all purposes. But the efficiency and utilisation of the facilities are not up to the mark. Separate hostels for girls and boys are available, and the quality of food in the canteen is good.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and experienced, and most of them are ready to help students. But some teachers are temporary ones and have less knowledge. The college follows the 2017 scheme of Calicut University. The exams are tough, and students must work hard to pass. The pass percentage is between 70-80%.

Other: The college hosts an inter-college programme called Yuga, which is a well-reputed fest among architecture colleges. It also conducts various cultural programs within the campus.
