KEAM 2027 Chapter Wise Weightage: CEE conducts the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) in April every year. The candidates preparing for the KEAM CBT exam must prepare strategically for the exam. The exam will have questions from Maths, Physics and Chemistry. The BTech aspirants have to appear for all three subjects, whereas the BPharm aspirants have to appear for Physics and Chemistry papers.

KEAM full form is Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Entrance Exam, it is an entrance exam that is conducted in Kerela, Mumbai, New Delhi and Dubai. The entrance test is held for admission to engineering courses at various colleges in Kerela that are approved by the Central and State Regulatory Bodies, Universities and Government. The candidates who qualify in KEAM have to then appear for the centralised admission process (CAP), conducted by CEE. Via CAP, admission will be also provided in medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, architecture, and pharmacy courses. However, for admission to these courses candidates do not need to appear for KEAM they need NEET / NATA scores as applicable. KEAM engineering rank is prepared by giving an equal weightage of 50:50 to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination conducted by CEE for Engineering and the marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure.

KEAM 2027 Syllabus
Following the revision of the KEAM syllabus by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) in 2024, applicants must study the updated curriculum to excel in the examination. Securing a top rank in KEAM 2027 requires mastering the entire syllabus rather than relying solely on high-yield topics.
The 2027 exam features a single-session, computer-based test (CBT) structure rather than the traditional two-paper model:
- Engineering Aspirants: Must solve 150 questions (75 in Mathematics, 45 in Physics, and 30 in Chemistry) in 180 minutes.
- B.Pharm Aspirants: Must complete 75 questions (45 in Physics and 30 in Chemistry) within a 90-minute window.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct response awards +4 marks, while every wrong response incurs a penalty of -1 mark.

As per the past three years' cutoff trend, TKM College of Engineering KEAM cutoff is generally released for 2 rounds of admission. In the first round, the maximum admissible rank was 7792 (BTech in Civil Engineering), and in the last round, it was 8758 for the BTech in Civil Engineering course.
