It's About Global Institute of Science and technology, Haldia, west Bengal.
Placements: I am now working in a design consultancy. In GIST u get 100% placements in mechanical and electrical. But in civil u get only 30-40 % placements. In 2017, in civil department they give us chance to get a chance only 4 core company. But in mechanical, they get 100% job. In electrical also they get 100% placements. But at the last we get a chance to participate in l&t ecc interview.
Infrastructure: Faculty are good. Labs are also good. There have sufficient computers in labs. And sufficient equipment in labs. There have highly qualified teachers, they give us proper information about lab. They also show us how it happens with proper lab equipment.
Faculty: Faculty are good and highly qualified. Office staffs are also good and supportive. We get all the solution of our problems regarding education. We get here additional courses like auto cad, Stand pro etc. Free of cost. We also get free tuitions from our teachers when we needed, and they happily co-ordinate with us.
Other: We played here cricket. Football at free time. College also arranged sports day nicely. And we also enjoyed a lot at the fest time.
