Well-rounded MCA program with strong placement support.
Placements: In the MCA course, around 45% of students got placed, depending on the institute and batch performance. The highest package offered ranges between 3 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and product-based companies like Zoho and Razorpay. Approximately 70%-90% of students secured internships. The most common positions offered are software developer, full-stack developer, QA engineer, system analyst, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The MCA department generally offers well-equipped infrastructure, including smart classrooms with projectors, high-speed campus Wi-Fi, and modern computer labs with the latest software and systems for coding, development, and research. The central library is stocked with technical books, journals, and digital access to academic resources. Hostels typically have basic but functional facilities. Rooms are shared or single with internet access, and washrooms are regularly cleaned.
Faculty: Teachers in the MCA program are generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, with many holding PhDs or having industry experience. The teaching quality is usually good, combining theoretical concepts with practical applications through lab sessions and project work. The curriculum is mostly relevant and updated to include subjects like data structures, web development, cloud computing, and machine learning, which help students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, testing both conceptual understanding and practical application, and the overall pass percentage is typically high, around 85%-95% of students who attend regularly and prepare consistently find it manageable.
Other: I chose the MCA course because of my strong interest in software development and problem-solving, and it offers a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of computer applications. The best things about the course include exposure to programming languages, real-world projects, internships, and industry-relevant subjects like AI, DBMS, and web technologies, which prepare students for careers in IT and software development.

Dissatisfied with placements and placement cell. No new opportunities are brought.
Placements: Marketing roles were offered to finance guys and ended up with sales role type of BPO. The packages offered by companies were low, and top companies never came to campus. Some were bought at first for students who will sit for an interview first time in their lifetime.
Infrastructure: Our college had good infrastructure and Wi-Fi but no facilities for sports. Wi-Fi and library facilities were good. The mess and canteen facilities were average, and it did not have any refreshment for students like games or sports day. The labs were okay.
Faculty: Faculty members were good. Exams were difficult, and passing percentage was above 30 marks from 60. Teachers were qualified and knowledgeable. Course curriculum was relevant but did not expect much from the course or college. The students were industry-ready.
Other: I chose MS as course was famous by word of mouth which was required for a decent job and expected finance roles placement.

Relevant course with good infrastructure and events, but needs more practical exposure.
Placements: In our passing-out batch, around 20% of students from our course got placed. The highest package offered was 4.5 LPA, while the lowest was a Rs. 5,000 per month stipend. The average package varied depending on roles and companies, with Homeville being one of the top recruiters. About 10% of students secured internships in reputed companies. The major roles offered include Software developer (SD), software development engineer (SDE), tester, frontend developer, and backend developer. These roles help students gain valuable industry exposure and a solid career start in the tech field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is well-developed and includes essential facilities like Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, fully equipped computer labs, and a well-stocked library that supports both academic and project work. Classrooms are spacious and conducive to learning. Our campus also has a good canteen that provides a variety of food options at affordable prices. Sports and games facilities are available as well, which help students maintain a healthy balance between academics and physical fitness. The hostel infrastructure is decent, with basic amenities provided for comfortable living. Overall, the environment is student-friendly and supports both learning and personal development.
Faculty: Teachers in our course were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They were supportive and often guided students beyond the classroom as well. The course curriculum is relevant and aligned with current industry standards, which helps in making students industry-ready by the time they graduate. However, the semester exams are moderately difficult and require consistent study and understanding of concepts to clear. The pass percentage in exams is around 40%, which indicates a certain level of academic rigor in the course.
Other: I chose MCA course because it is in demand and matches the current IT industry boom. The course is relevant and helps in making students industry-ready. Events and industrial visits are conducted, which add to the learning experience. The campus has a good crowd and offers decent connectivity and surroundings. Extracurricular activities and scholarships are also available. The overall experience is positive, but more focus on practical training and industry projects would make it even better. The environment is supportive, and regular events keep the campus lively and engaging.
