GNIMS hosts Certificate Distribution and Convocation Ceremony for the graduating batches of “MMS, PGDM & PGDM BFSI” [2022 -2024]

August 7, 2025: The grand “Certificate Distribution and Convocation Ceremony” for the graduating batches of “MMS, PGDM & PGDM BFSI” [2022 -2024] was held on “2nd August 2025" at GNIMS. The atmosphere was filled with pride, emotion, and celebration as students and faculty gathered to mark the culmination of an enriching academic journey. The event was honored by the presence of two distinguished guests - Hon. Chief Guest Dr. Vivekanand Roy [Vice President and Head of Human Resources] for Home Business and Enabling Functions, Jio, and Hon. Guest of Honour Dr. Srinivasan Iyenger, Former Director of JBIMS.

Dr. Vivekanand Roy emphasized that graduation is just the beginning — to keep learning and adapting. He ended the talk with the phrase “you are your own boss, your growth now lies in your hands.” Dr. Srinivasan Iyengar inspired the graduates to embrace innovation and creative thinking, urging them to “stay curious, passionate, and fearless in their professional journey.” The ceremony included welcome addresses, convocation speeches, certificate distribution, and moments of gratitude shared between students and mentors.

Faculty members extended their heartfelt wishes and shared reflections on the students’ growth and achievements. The event concluded with a vibrant group photo session, capturing smiles, memories, and the excitement of a new beginning.

GNIMS Hosts Welcome Ceremony for Incoming MMS Students

August 4, 2025: The MMS inaugural ceremony was marked by insightful addresses from Dr. Satvinder Singh Bedi, In-Charge Director MMS, and Dr. Jasbir Kaur, In-Charge Director PGDM. They shared perspectives on the dynamic management environment, the institute’s rich history, cherished memories, and the importance of discipline. Guest of Honour Mr. Harish Menon, Ex-Vice President at Tata Sons Ltd., discussed corporate world expectations and competencies needed across MBA specializations.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Shantanu Garg, Vice President – Special Projects (Business Growth) at Grasim Industries Limited, guided students on essential skills for employability. Other faculty, including Dr. Sameer Salunkhe, Ms. Anitha Menon, Ms. Channpreet Kaur Bhatia, Prof. Bins Mathew, and Dr. Kuljit Kalhon, shared important academic and institutional information.

July 31, 2025: GNIMS is organizing an Intercollege Business Idea Competition for UG and PG students. Teams of up to four members will present business plans, judged on innovation, feasibility, clarity, impact, and business model. Prizes include INR 10,000 for Winner and INR 5,000 for Runner-Up.
