The college has knowledgeable staff and good placements.

Placements: 50% of the students were placed, with salaries ranging from Rs. 80,000 to 1.5 LPA. The institutions offering placements included Manipal Hospital, Narayana Hospital, Spandan Hospital, Victoria Hospital, and Government Hospital 99 in Yeshwantpur and Narayana Hrudayalaya. We secured internships and postings as senior staff nurses.

Infrastructure: Our college is equipped with labs, classrooms, and a library. The hostel was clean, and the food quality was good, matching our cultural preferences. Medical facilities were readily available, as it is a nursing college, and various types of labs were present, including an Obstetrics and Gynecology lab and a medical-surgical nursing lab. Sports events are conducted annually.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they are well-qualified. They teach according to each student’s understanding. After finishing college, I feel capable of working in the field. The exams were quite easy, and we received practical knowledge throughout the course. The passing percentage in our college and university is 50%.

Other: They will conduct more programs like cultural, sports, freshers, ethnic, and farewell. We will enjoy it more and it gives the relationship.

Not that much good environment of college campus but college teachers are very helpful.

Placements: Not that much good. Very low percentage of students get placement opportunities. But they give 100% internships for 6 months. 3 to 4 companies are interested to take freshers. As a stuff nurse, you may start a job in the corporate hospital.

Infrastructure: The boys' hostel is a dump of dustbin. The food quality is very bad. There is no Wi-Fi. The college is very good. There is no canteen in our college. Labs are good but they practice old technology. Yearly once, the college conducts annual sports.

Faculty: It is very good. Teachers are very helpful to us. They are very experienced and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is most relevant which helps students in their jobs or their careers in life. For passing the exams, you should get 50% marks in theory and practical separately.

It is a good college so you can have a good future here.

Placements: Almost 100% of students got placements after studying from here, and it is good. All the students studying here are working as professional nurses in a good hospital. They are working in a good post. After passing out from here, you will get so many opportunities to succeed in life.

Infrastructure: There are so many rules here that we need to follow. It is good, but we sometimes feel irritated to maintain the rules and regulations. The hostel is good, but the food served is not that good, and we have to adjust to it.

Faculty: The college is good, but there are some faculty members issues after this pandemic. So many faculty members left the college, and it is a rare problem. It conducts a class test. It also conducts internal exams so that we can understand our depth for the final exam.

Other: Because of this pandemic from the last two years, events are not organised here.

Review of Goutham College.

Placements: For placements, students have to go through a 6-month compulsory internship. It has industry exposure, to convert students into professionals. After successfully graduating, any students can register their name in the placements cell to be notified and for guidance regarding the job. The college has tie-ups with many reputed firms to placed the students to have a good career.

Infrastructure: Hostel accommodation is available for both girls and boys. The hostels are located adjacent to the college, and well furnished. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Rules and regulations are strictly followed in the hostel premises. The negative point is that visitors are not allowed in the hostel even if they are not parents or guardians. There are very strict rules amended in the hostel. Though the food served is good in the hostel. I liked the hostel stay, and disliked a few things, but they are meant for our security itself.

Other: The fee structure of this college is 1.6 LPA which is expensive. Students usually take education loans or rely on scholarships to pay most of their fees. The fee is an average of the normal fee charged for same in other colleges. In this college, admission takes place on a merit basis.

Faculty: The fee for BPT is 1.6 lac yearly, which is quite expensive, so people usually take education loans or rely on scholarships to pay most part of their fees. However, the fee charged BPT is average, and it is even lower than the normal fee charged for the same in other colleges.

Other: Admission to this college is on a merit basis. All the interested candidates are required to fill in their application forms. I applied for BPT under this college. I had an aggregate of 75% and a good score in all subjects, so I was selected for the interview round. The date and time of the interview were conveyed via post to me. On interview, an entrance test was held by the college comprising of basic aptitude and general knowledge questions. I cleared the test and got enrolled for the BPT course as I wanted. The admission process further was quite easy. The admissions are open till the seats are filled up. Normally, the minimum requirement is students should pass in 12th with physics, chemistry, biology, and English subjects with 45% and 40% for SC, ST, and for students belonging to Karnataka.
