Government College Mokeri

Placements: Our college never provides any placements for students. This is the major drawback of our college. The college does not offer any assistance or resources for finding placement or internship opportunities, leaving students to fend for themselves in securing practical work experience or job placements after post-graduation.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is above average. The college has Wi-Fi connectivity all over the campus. It has a central library with a vast collection of books and digital resources, providing ample opportunities for research. However, there is no hostel facility for girls.

Faculty: The course is for 2 years and contains four semesters. The pass percentage is 40%. The criticism papers are very difficult, but more interesting topics and subjects are included, like Indian English writing and American writing. The faculty is really supportive, and they are all highly qualified, with most holding Ph.D.s in their respective fields.

Other: The college has a very good campus and peaceful atmosphere. The college conducts paper presentations each semester. The college union organizes arts days, sports days, Onam celebrations, other festivals, and charity works.

Candidate must have passed BA English Language & Literature/BA English & History/BA Functional English/ BA English with Islamic History or BA/BSc (excluding alternative pattern) Degree with English as Common Course (Part I), of this University or an equivalent* degree, with the mentioned marks or equivalent overall CGPA. SC/STcandidates need only to get a pass. For Non-BA (English) category candidates applying for M A English Language & Literature, admission will be based on an Entrance Test. A candidate should score at least 50% marks in the Entrance Test for admission in this category.
