Quality faculty but infrastructure not exactly upto the mark.
Placements: There are very few non industry IT companies that come here for placement. The TPO is non existent and hardly communicates well with the students. But a wide variety of Ceramic companies come to recruit all with good packages above industry standards. From Ceramic more than 70 percent get placed and with packages above 4 LPA frequent among them.
Infrastructure: It has a large campus but with a single building. It has a playground cum park where you can sit and spend your free time. The labs are all well-equipped, neat and clean. Wi-Fi is available in the campus. Sports can also be played like Table tennis and there is also a gym.
Faculty: Faculty is quite good and helpful and very jolly. People here are understanding of your personal problems. The quality of the teachers are exceptional, guest teachers are exclusive. Some guest teachers are not upto the mark and are not so qualified to teach M.Tech level students.
Other: There are various events held like the Tech fest and the Cultural fest in the college auditorium that is a grand affair. Scholarship is also available for GATE qualified M.Tech students and also according to government norms. Canteen is not really upto the mark. Hostel facility is also available subject to availability.

The hostel fees at the Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology are very less, i.e, only around INR 60 per month. This fee includes the electricity charges. However, the student will need to pay separate charges for the mess. There are limited seats available at the hostel.
