Great cultural life and hostels, but poor placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean and are currently being renovated, which will make them better soon. Labs are all air-conditioned, though not every AC or machine works properly, which is typical of a government college. Still, the setup is fairly good. Hostel life is nice, with good food, though freshers might need to follow some courses initially. Since the hostel is also under renovation, conditions are improving. Overall, the infrastructure is a mix of good facilities and old systems, balancing comfort ...

It is a good and family-friendly college with regular college.

Infrastructure: Facilities at the college are excellent. Infrastructure is also good, but the campus is small. Seniors are friendly. There is no ragging. The hostel is good, but the capacity is small. The food in the hostel is good, and the fees are low. Overall, I love this college.

The college atmosphere is very good. The seniors are helpful and they guide you in every step .

Infrastructure: The buildings of this college are old and not that big to catch your eye. But the library of this college is very big. The library has a vast number of books and you can have the books virtually as they are uploaded. The hostel is not that big but it has all the necessary things students need .

A good place to start your journey.

Infrastructure: The course is very easy for the first year and it goes up for the upcoming years. The infrastructure is good and our college has its own high-speed Wi-Fi on the college campus and in hostels. Labs are modernized and they contain high-end technological items. The canteen is not good and it remains closed throughout the year. A medical officer is also present at our college. If we come to sports, there are two grounds in our college where you can play any kind of game at any time. So don't worry a...

This college is well reputed and value for money.

Infrastructure: The college has a huge campus, internet access, a large building, staff rooms, boys' and girls' common rooms, clean bathrooms, well-maintained and fully equipped classrooms, and lab rooms for the students. Things are almost perfect on the campus. The canteen provides good, hygienic, affordable food with a variety of food items available. The college provides medical facilities like basic first aid and health check-ups. Indoor and outdoor game options are available, and annual sports events occur...

Glimpse of GCECT, Kolkata.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus. Only LAN Wi-Fi is available in computer labs. The library is comparatively modern, with a good number of books. Hostel is a joke here; with only 10 students per year, the intake is limited to only boys. There is no separate girls hostel. The canteen is not functional at this college. However, games are pretty well played in our college.

GCECT is our 2nd home, and we are the best.

Infrastructure: The college is well decorated with all the facilities, like a library room, labs, play ground, and so on, but the campus is small as it is located in the main city. One thing I can assure you of is that there will be no lack of games and sports activities in the college, as our GS is too generous and likes to conduct such stuff all over the year.

Our college is very good.

Infrastructure: It has free Wi-Fi with unlimited internet connection. Drinking water is available. We have many labs in our college, such as chemistry lab, python lab, c+ lab, c lab, java lab, workshop lab, computer architecture lab etc. which are well maintained. Our hostel is very spacious, neat, and clean. The more the distance from your home to college, greater is the probability to get admission in hostel.

Our college gives a good start to a career.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There are labs of all kinds that one may need during his or her course. Apart from the ceramic department, the CSE and IT departments also have good labs and all the resources.

I am satisfied with this college.

Infrastructure: Our college may look dull from outside, but inside it has very good infrastructure, like every essential laboratory is provided. IIT Kharagpur also visit our college for the inspiration of their cement laboratory from our college. The hostel is also very good and it is only for boys.

I'm satisfied with the college. The teachers and seniors are very helpful.

Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi facility in our college. Our labs have good infrastructure, and our classrooms are big and clean. The library is big, a pot of books is there, and there is also a study room for students. There's a hostel for boys only. The quality of the food is good enough. There are two grounds for sports.

It has average placements and good faculty members, but it has a small campus.

Infrastructure: We have both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned classrooms. The sitting capacity of classrooms is also good, and projectors work well. The hostel rooms are in the range of average to good. In some classrooms, fans are a little bit slow, and we face some difficulties with them in the summer. Hostels are also too clean. The campus is small and the playground is not properly maintained. SWA organises cricket, badminton, and football tournaments every year.

The hostel fees at the Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology are very less, i.e, only around INR 60 per month. This fee includes the electricity charges. However, the student will need to pay separate charges for the mess. There are limited seats available at the hostel.
