Great cultural life and hostels, but poor placement opportunities.

Faculty: The course structure at GCECT is well designed, though it may feel hectic for newcomers. Most students adapt within a semester or two, and many go on to score above 8.5 SGPA, with several achieving 9 or even 10. Since the college is autonomous and the faculty sets the papers, students can focus their studies according to their goals. Be it higher education or placements with smart preparation, two to three weeks of study is usually enough to score well. The only real challenge is the CLA, conduc...

The college is small, but I came for a degree and found a family here.

Faculty: Autonomous college. Teachers are experienced and supportive, guiding students with practical insights. The curriculum is updated and industry-oriented. Exams are conducted fairly, with equal focus on theory and practical knowledge for overall student development.

Good if you only want a degree with minimum studying and less than 1% attendance.

Faculty: Teachers are very smart and well enough to guide students in their careers. They are very much knowledgeable. Curriculum is relevant, and college hosts many workshops to make students industry-ready. Everyone in this college gets above more than 8.5 CGPA. Semester exams are the easiest. You can pass it in 2 hours of studying.

Good college if you are planning for higher studies.

Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and experts in their fields. If not all most of them are friendly. The course is okay, it also prepares them for the industry but students must also learn some skills themselves to excel. Semester exams are not so difficult, practicing previous years' questions and learning the concepts is enough. Passing percentage is 50% separately in lab exams and written exams.

The college atmosphere is very good. The seniors are helpful and they guide you in every step .

Faculty: The teachers are very good; they are highly qualified and they make extra efforts for us to understand the subjects. The courses are well developed and designed and they prepare the students for industry and life. The semester exams are not that difficult. If you attend classes, you could easily score good marks.

A good place to start your journey.

Faculty: The exams are very easy to score. The batch strength for every department is around 40 and every year, 10 out of 40 students from every batch get a CGPA >= 9. The professors are very good and they hold the best knowledge in their respective fields. Prof. Kingshuk Chatterjee, Dr. Ambika Mukhopadhyay, and others are the best faculty members, as you can see from some average professors. Hehe, I won't talk about them; you will see them on your own. The semester exams are very easy and they are condu...

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and friendly, always there for the students. They are qualified and knowledgeable in their respective domains and try to teach at their level best. They teach in a way that would be understandable to the students easily. They clear the doubts of the students and conduct seminars on different topics. Their teaching quality is undoubtedly good. Glimpse of GCECT, Kolkata.

Faculty: Teachers are awesome; they are good to be integrated with. The course curriculum is good, as they have now made NPTEL lectures mandatory to get your B.Tech. with Hons. degree. Exam patterns are made by our college, not MAKAUT, as the college is autonomous. Semester exams and pass percentages are significantly better than those of other similar colleges.

GCECT is our 2nd home, and we are the best.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers here are too cooperative and like to share their ideas, which influences us to be better and more practical in our lives. The college studies are not enough to make us industrial workers ready but at least you can get a basic idea of how the industry works.

Our college is very good.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Many camps are set by our teachers, such as night camp, moon watching, which are very cheerful to us. Students passing out from this college are always industry ready.

It is a very great college.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and highly qualified. The course is good, but we have to work hard and make ourselves ready for the future. Our course is very informative. Semester exams are moderate. If you study 2 hours a day, you can score a 9 CGPA easily. Apart from college notes, we need to gather further knowledge from youtube to build our CV great.

Our college gives a good start to a career.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced. It is an autonomous college, so exams are held smoothly. Every semester has 3 exams, i.e., 2 midterms and an end-semester exam. Only those topics that are useful are being taught. Most students pass the exams.

I am satisfied with this college.

Faculty: Our professors are highly qualified and very helpful. It is a very good college for ceramic engineering. The curriculum is the best optimized for the students to make them industry-ready. Our college also provides internships to all of the students, to further enhance their practical knowledge of the industry.
