A college with good faculty members and decent placements.

Placements: Around 70% of students got placed into different tech and non-tech companies. The highest salary package offered is 64 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Hexaware, TCS, Technodrive, etc.

Infrastructure: We have all the facilities required on a campus like Wi-Fi all over campus, labs with required amenities, and library with more than 10,000 books. The quality of food in our canteen is really good and tastes much better. We have gymkhana in college itself filled with every equipment needed.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and really helpful regarding anything whether it is related to off-stream guidance or academic guidance. Course curriculum is updated as per the industrial need. Semester is not that difficult considering our attendance is consistent and we practice the concepts taught in lectures on our own.

Other: I chose AIML i.e. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning which excites me a lot and has a lot of future scope. We have multiple events in our college and I'm also part of an organizing committee like MUN, technical fest, and cultural fest.

Placements: 70% of students at DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology (DYPCET) in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, were placed. The highest package was 64 LPA. The average package was 5 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA. Top recruiters included Tech Mahindra, Fox, Adobe, Manpower, and Kirloskar. In 2022-23, the placement record was 5.63. In 2021-22, the placement record was 6.13. In 2020-21, the placement record was 5.13. In 2019-20, the placement record was 4.5.

Infrastructure: Hostel: Boys Hostel | Girls Hostel. Gym. Hospital/Medical Facilities. A/C Classrooms. Labs. Library. D.Y. Patil Medical College's library has a collection of 15,890 books and 220 volumes. The library also has subscriptions to 82 National and 47 International journals, 5,576 e-journals, and 11,045 e-books. Accredited 'A' by NAAC. The canteen is the best with affordable prices. There is a luxurious sitting area and a separate area for teachers and staff. Bus facilities are available to nearby areas in and out of Kolhapur.

Faculty: Faculty is mostly Ph.D. qualified in their particular subject. Some are M.Tech. completed and Ph.D. pursuing. The course curriculum and syllabus are aligned with Artificial Intelligence. Our college provides the option to select a subject from another engineering department to showcase as an extra subject on the resume. The exams are divided into three parts: ISE 20 marks, MSE 30 marks, ESE 50 marks. The passing percentage is 40%. There are different criteria for passing: ISE + MSE = 20 marks are required, and for ESE, 20 marks are required. A total of 40 marks is needed.

Other: Choosing a career in AI can be rewarding and offers endless possibilities. By acquiring the right skills and education, you can make a significant impact in various industries and contribute to the advancement of technology. We need more practice and innovative ideas to improve our course. There are many events, with 2 to 3 events held every month. The campus is comfortable and extremely luxurious. The surrounding area is of high standard, as the college is situated in the best area of Kolhapur. There is a large crowd in the college and the surrounding area.
