Placements: 60 to 70 percent of students are placed in this course. The highest package in this course is 27 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Nearly 80 percent of students get internships on campus. The recruiting companies are Godrej, Accenture, Dassault Systems, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are provided by the college. The infrastructure of the college is very good. A big-capacity library is available. All medical facilities are provided. Canteen food is good. All sports facilities are available. Wi-Fi is available in the college.
Faculty: The teachers in this college are good. The teaching quality is also good. The college arranges many industry visits to make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy. We can score easily by reading textbooks. The passing marks are above 40 percent.

A college with good faculty members and decent placements.
Placements: Around 70% of students got placed into different tech and non-tech companies. The highest salary package offered is 64 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Hexaware, TCS, Technodrive, etc.
Infrastructure: We have all the facilities required on a campus like Wi-Fi all over campus, labs with required amenities, and library with more than 10,000 books. The quality of food in our canteen is really good and tastes much better. We have gymkhana in college itself filled with every equipment needed.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and really helpful regarding anything whether it is related to off-stream guidance or academic guidance. Course curriculum is updated as per the industrial need. Semester is not that difficult considering our attendance is consistent and we practice the concepts taught in lectures on our own.
Other: I chose AIML i.e. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning which excites me a lot and has a lot of future scope. We have multiple events in our college and I'm also part of an organizing committee like MUN, technical fest, and cultural fest.

My honest review of D.Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: My course is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Between 70% to 80% of students get placements. The highest package offered was 64 LPA, the average is 5.63 LPA, and the lowest is 4.8 LPA. Some top recruiting companies that participate in campus placements are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. 80% of students get internships in my course. Cognizant and some local companies offer internship opportunities in our college. Top roles offered in my course are software developer, software tester, and computer security engineer.
Infrastructure: Bus facilities are available from every area. There are big computer labs with more than 80 computers and a large library that has all the required books. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate 150 students. Wi-Fi is available in some selected areas of the college. We can participate in NCC and various sports. Technical and sports games are frequently arranged by students. Hostel rooms are good, and the canteen is really affordable with tasty meals. The canteen provides a great variety of veg and non-veg options.
Faculty: Faculty members are really helpful and cooperative. They have deep knowledge in their respective fields, and the teaching quality is very good. Concepts become clear through their teaching. As our college is autonomous, the curriculum changes whenever required to meet industrial needs, making it relevant. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and 90% of students pass.
Other: I chose this course because there is great scope in AIML in the future. The best thing about my course is that we can help people and reduce human efforts with the help of AIML. An improvement that should be made in our course is to include projects and the implementation of theoretical knowledge. The college organizes many tech fests and competitions, such as poster presentations, quizzes, and technology treasure hunts. The campus is really crowded, and our classrooms are also crowded. The campus surroundings are really beautiful, with trees and a lawn. Scholarships are provided to the students who come first in academics. Gatherings and traditional days are also celebrated, and on special occasions like the birth anniversary of great leaders, competitions are organized.

Placements: Around 75% of students are getting placed in our college, with the highest package of 7.5 LPA for my course, the lowest of 3 LPA and an average of 6 LPA for my particular course. The top recruiters are Knorr Bremse, TATA Power, KSB Pumps, Foseca and Atlas Copco.
Infrastructure: We have good facilities at our department, as in all-time access to labs and Wi-Fi. Even every department has its own separate library, and we have a huge central library. About the hostel, I've heard they're really clean and not too compact, but the mess food can be a headache sometimes.
Faculty: Teachers are really great, but too strict for attendance as well. They're very knowledgeable and provide you with good guidance. The curriculum we have is kind of a bit outdated but still, we learn a lot of things from it. The semester exams are not so difficult; with a couple days of consistent study, anyone can pass the exam.
