Government Engineering College, Banka.
Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my college. The highest package is about 10 LPA, and the average is about 5 LPA, which is offered in the CSC course. The minimum is about 2 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and many mini IT companies, along with some construction companies. About 40% of students get internships, and top roles offered for my college students are in PSU.
Infrastructure: The faculty and infrastructure available in our college include subject-wise labs, a library, and smart classrooms. Every hostel room has three beds, three tables, three chairs, three fans, and three tube lights. Medical, canteen, and sports facilities are also available, and there are common rooms for watching movies. Mess food is okay, but canteen food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very high, and they have a friendly nature. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and the passing percentage is about 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I am fascinated by signal transmission and how satellites work. Connectivity problems are significant in college, and the government has many events, but the crowd is low.

Really good infrastructure and affordable engineering college.
Placements: 50-60% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the average package was 3-4 LPA. Many different small companies visited the college campus for placement drives like Acedemor, Eco Space, MSME Mitra, BARC, and pool campus drive available by the university. There is a compulsory internship for students in the 6th semester.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and well-maintained, and Wi-Fi is also available. Classes are good and maintained. Fully equipped labs are available. The library has all kinds of books, and a digital library is also accessible. Mess food is okay and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, all the teachers and faculty members are well-educated, and most of the teachers are BPSC (teacher) qualified. Exams are conducted by the Bihar Engineering University board (BEU). Semester exams are slightly difficult, and a minimum of 5 GPA is required to avoid a year back. Around 75% of attendance is mandatory.
Other: There are a lot of fests and events that happen with a huge crowd and celebrities. About 3-4 events and 4 fests in a year are organized like Mandar Fest and Parvaa Teach Fest.

Q:   Are there any hands-on labs or internships included in the BTech CSE coursework?
    A:

The BTech CSE syllabus is incomplete without regular lab classes and internship programs because of the importance of programming, software development, and AI and ML knowledge required in the CSE field, which cannot be taught only through theory classes.

Premier institutes often collaborate with leading industrial partners to provide their students with the best internship exposure and training opportunities, which may act as an entry point to excellent earning opportunities later.
