Here is my review about my college, Government Engineering College, Bhojpur.
Placements: So its a newly constructed college so placement figure will be more clear after few years, but as of now, last year, hill edutech Pvt. Ltd. hired around 10 students from different branches with 6.4 LPA. The internship figure will also be more clear in upcoming years
.
Infrastructure: The campus of this college is comparably small compared to any other government engineering college in Bihar. Wi-Fi facilities are not available in classrooms, and libraries have good labs that are well equipped; some more lab equipment is being installed and will be fully operational in a few weeks. The hostel is a mess, but the food is good, so there is nothing wrong with it.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified; they are punctual and gave their full attention to students.
The curriculum I feel is a little outdated, and I think it doesn't make the students industry-ready.
The semester exams are moderate to tough. External are out of 70 marks, with 25 passing and the remaining 30 are of internal.
Other: So basically, I have an interest in automobile and machine-related things.
Practical knowledge should be provided to students, and they should teach how to enhance communication skills.
Events and fests are organized very frequently. So there will be no issue of fun .

Placements: It has an average placement rate. Top recruiters are HCL Technologies, Streebo, and TCS. The minimum salary package offered is 3.3 LPA. Internships are offered by the government.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good, and good food is served in the canteen. Bathrooms are good. There are elevators.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are qualified and experienced. They are appointed by Bihar government. Exams are conducted and controlled by University of Bihar.
Other: Sports are held between the government colleges in Bihar. Other events are also held. Students have a keen interest in cricket and photography.

Our college is awesome in everything.
Placements: Placements didn't take place. Internship opportunity is good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is matching international standards. It has upgraded its classrooms to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques. There are centrally air-conditioned classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors, tutorial rooms, library, a state-of-the-art seminar room and a fully equipped auditorium with seating capacity of over 750 persons. College takes pride in being a differently-able friendly campus with new ramps, elevators, and special washrooms. There are various facilities to address the reading, hearing, and understanding requirements of various students. Library is an empowering unit with a resource centre for visually challenged possessing an array of audio-visual aids to assist in the process of self actualisation. College is endowed with renovated hostels, medical support systems with physiotherapy centre, modern gymnasium, swimming pool, a huge parking facility, air conditioned sports complex, and playground of international standards. A complete smoke and vehicle free zone. College provides an eco-friendly environment to its students with the latest initiatives of solar heating, rainwater harvesting, and paper. It has well-equipped labs and libraries. Everything is awesome. New campus is built next year this college is shifted to ara in main city.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and enthusiastic. They are recruited from reputed universities and well known educational organisations. They are the best and have an extraordinary ability to step outside and become liberating forces in our lives. The best amongst the lot joined hands with us to bring complete understanding of the subject and magazine of problem-solving techniques for efficient and effective study. Our faculty team comprise of perfect blend of academicians and subject experts. They are trained to superior the learning process for students. It is affiliated to AKU.
Other: I chose this course as I want to prepare for ESE.

The newest government engineering college of Bihar.
Placements: Since, our college is a new engineering college established in the year 2019. So, there is no placement record. The first batch from here will pass out in the year 2023 so placement data will be available after that. But as of now no chance of placement.
Infrastructure: Till now our college do not have its own infrastructure. Our college is running in the campus of Bakhtiyarpur college of engineering. But building of our college is under construction in the Ara (Bhojpur) district of Bihar. Since our college has not its own infrastructure but then we have a decent library, classrooms, labs etc. No hostel and no space for any sports.
Faculty: Faculty of our college are well qualified and knowledgeable. They all are experienced faculty members. They teaches very well. Along with this they are also very much helpful to students they are always ready to help their students. Semester exams are not much difficult and course curriculum is relevant.

I suggest you to join GEC Bhojpur.
Placements: As our college shares its campus with Bakhtiyarpur Engineering College, there is a good placement cell. Many companies like DRDO, Prism Cement, etc., hired our seniors with good salary packages. The placement cell is growing at a good pace. There is a good team in the placement cell.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available for both boys and girls, and there are 2 boys and 1 girls hostel with an affordable fee per annum, including food charges of around Rs. 45,000. Medical facilities are also available. There are a playground and some sports equipment.
Faculty: There are good teachers who are always ready to help. We are in the 4th semester, and we are getting good teachers in every semester. Here 4 branches are available in engineering, and they are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and instrumental engineering.

Infrastructure and teachers are good.
Placements: About 20% of the total students got placed through placements because, in Bihar, there is no big placement. Students have to do hard work for getting jobs. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Top companies like HCL and Cisco come for placements. A few students got an internship from our course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are airy and large space, and big boards are hanged on the wall. Projectors are available through which students study. Canteen is well-cleaned, and food quality is good. Hygiene is maintained, and food is also available in the mess. The environment is good.
Faculty: The course makes students industry-ready. Teaching quality is good, and the teachers are helpful for students. The curriculum is relevant, and students can explore many new things. They learn much from teachers in every field. Overall, it is good.
Other: I have chosen this course because it gives many opportunities for jobs, and especially for girls, this field is the best.
