Honest review of my college.
Placements: Our batch is the first CSE batch of the government engineering college, Munger, so there is no historical data for placement for the CSE branch. For civil, a few sales companies are seeking. I think students should not rely on the college placements because no such opportunities are there.
Infrastructure: Our college has one girls' hostel, one boys' hostel, and one administrative block where all classes are conducted. It has 3 staff members' quarters, one workshop, and an auditorium, which are not satisfactory. There is no ground inside our campus. There is only a volleyball court and a badminton court.
Faculty: Faculty members are not so confident in their teaching. The course curriculum is not well-designed. They changed our syllabus after 4 semester concluded, and exams are not taken on time. Semesters are always running late. At least, semester examinations should be taken on time, but no such thing is done.

This is about my college.
Placements: The students placed in our course are around 1 to 5 percent of students in different courses. The highest package is around 5.3 LPA and the lowest is 2.3 LPA. No top recruiting companies. No data about the offered course. And about internships, no one has an internship in our college.
Infrastructure: Because of the new college, the infrastructure is good. We know that the college is in Bihar, so the infrastructure is decent. About the hostel, it is also good. The college has a volleyball ground, football ground, cricket ground, etc. The college has no good canteen facility.
Faculty: The faculty, I think, because it is a government college, some faculty behavior is like government bank employees, which is bad. Not all, but some. So, because of the faculty, I don't recommend it. It doesn’t make the students industry-ready, and the quality of education is very poor.
Other: I only think to tell you that if you have a chance to go to another state college, then you should blindly go ahead because the environment is not sufficient for study and growth.

According to me, GEC Munger is good in terms of discipline and with facilities too.
Placements: In my course, in batch 2023-27, there are a total of 46 students placed. We are the second batch of CSE (AI) in our college, so no student or batch has been offered any package or placement offers yet. IMS Research India, HCL Technologies, Capgemini, Wipro AI Labs, etc.
Infrastructure: For facilities, we are provided with a library where all the books are available. Free Wi-Fi is also provided, so you can study all you want without being worried about data supplies. Classrooms are clean and comfortable. The boys' and girls' hostels are separate, and so are their sports facilities. In the girls' hostel, we are provided with a volleyball court, badminton court, kabaddi ground, etc. Mess food is okay, but the stuff always gets finished in the canteen. We are always transferred to Sadar Hospital in case of a medical emergency.
Faculty: Yes, teachers were helpful, and every teacher was qualified for their respective subjects. All of them are quite knowledgeable too. Yes, this course is totally relevant; it does make the student industry-ready. The semester exams were tough, all the questions are well-defined, and we were asked tough questions.
Other: Because it is the need of the upcoming world, it'll be beneficial for my future. It would be better if we were taught basics like HTML before C language.

Review of Government Engineering College, Munger.
Placements: Approximately 20–24 students got placed in various branches, with an average salary package of INR 3.14 LPA and 5 students getting the highest package of INR 5.30 LPA. The highest salary package offered was INR 7.1 LPA, while the lowest was INR 3.10 LPA. Top recruiting companies include HCL, NTPC, IBM, etc. Approximately 70 percent of students got internships from NTPC, IBM, CISCO, and many startup companies. Packages are a little low, but it is okay to have a good job the first time.
Infrastructure: Here you get 24 hours Wi-Fi, you get to play lab and indoor games also, there is no bullying in the hostel here, no student is harassed here, and all the facilities here are good, which helps in everything and here. The mess food is much better than the other college comparison. And there is also a canteen, which is open once a week. We have sports and games facilities. They always provide medical care in our hostel.
Faculty: In our college, teachers take regular classes, the syllabus is over on time, and the teachers are preparing for the entrance exam along with all the semester exams. And if you get a chance to study in this way, you can get placement in any industry and talk about the semester exam. According to the university, you need 24 marks out of 70 marks, i.e., passing at 35%.
Other: According to us, college is right if you want to do B.Tech at a low cost because you get good facilities for less money, and student credit cards are also available here. Students who are not able to study can also study here. Scholarships are also available, and an annual event is also held every year.

The college is very bad.
Placements: Till now, no one from our branch has been placed, and it will happen from this time because only this batch has been added. Therefore, till now the placement record has not been made. Till now, only civil, electrical or mechanical placements are done from here and that too in sales companies. In 2024-25, core companies also visit the college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The lab assistant here does not care about anything and everybody just stands here for money, whether the students learn or not doesn't matter to them. If a 24x7 Wi-Fi facility is arranged here, then it will be a very good thing. Labs are the best way to trap students.
Faculty: There is a lot of pride in the faculty members here, so I suggest students do not take admission in this college. There are no studies at all. Somehow, they have got a job and they do not make us study at all. Some male teachers here are very good but no one values them because they do not listen to those people.
Other: This course is very good for this generation. I have been interested in all these things since childhood, so I chose this course.

Satisfied with faculty members and facilities.
Placements: Approximately 75 percentage of students were placed in computer Science. Heights package offer in crores. The lowest may be four to five Lacs. Top recruiting companies are google, Microsoft, apple, etc. Top roles offered on the basis of how good u in semester and interview.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our courses like Wi-Fi (whole campus Wi-Fi), labs, classroom (fully AC ), library (24?4). Chilled and could water available every where in college. In hostel, quality of food is average. Emergency medical support available every day.
Faculty: Teacher are very cooperative, helpful, understanding, high skilled and friendly. Course curriculum are very relevant. Semester exam are in our college are not very tough. Pass percentage are good. Courses help to make the students industry ready for fresher.
Other: In my batch good number of students there. Ratio of boy and girls are as usual as we know how many girls pursuing B. Teach degree.

.
Placements: This is a very good government engineering college munger in Bihar munger and it is affiliated to Bihar engineering University
Placements are good but not too High package because computer Science student has not passed out yet so package is might low but not will be always
Environment is good
faculty members are good
.
Infrastructure: Mess food is good
And everything is fine
Medical facilities are there for emergency
And sports and games are organised every month by the sports facilities but not has a proper ground for sports but it is improving and they are trying to provide us
.
Faculty: Semester exam m is so hard for those who don't study
Because we can't take help from anyone during exam because of strict action
Exams are conducted by the university which is Bihar engineering University
And this a newly stabilized University.
Other: Normally 3 big events happens in a year but many more events happens during entire college life like sports, placements etc.
