Satisfied with infrastructure and faculty but not with placement.

Placements: Our batch come under 21 scheme, there is no guarantee of placement but one of the senior placed in TCS got package offered maybe of 3 to 4 LPA. But in our batch till now no company has arrived for placement. Only TCS came for YEP program. Qspider is arriving let's see how many of us get an opportunity

Infrastructure: Labs, library and classrooms are properly available but there is no wifi connection for students. In hostel I can rate food 4 out of 5. You can select this hostel because it's located within campus so it's safer than other. Students must be there within 6'o'clock.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. I can rate their teaching quality 5 out of 5. They treat us good. According to me exams are not that much difficult. We can easily get pass. Most of the people will get passed only those who have not studied or didn't taken a exam as a serious note they will fail.

Other: Basically I want to become a software engineer so I joined this course.

Good environment for learning.

Placements: In our college, especially in our branch. So many students got placed in this year in TCS company. TCS company will give the training for selected students based on the CGPA of the student. It will be one year program it will be conducted for 3rd-year students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good nowadays. The hostel will also be opened, it will help a lot of students. Good environment and infrastructure for learning. Lab facilities are also very good, so many systems are available for practice.

Faculty: It will conduct as per the timetable and schedules. It is maintained decency on exams. They strictly follow the timetables. Three internals are conducted each semester.

Other: In odd sem conduct, the welcome party for welcoming the freshers in even during sem, they conduct some events and some fests.

Placements: In our college, only around 10% of Computer Science students were placed, with the minimum package being 3 LPA and the maximum reaching 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, though placements were limited. Some students secured internships in startups and mid-sized companies, mostly in software development and testing roles. The average package offered was relatively low, and more industry exposure could be beneficial.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Computer Science department at VTU includes well-equipped labs, classrooms with projectors, and a vast digital library with access to e-resources. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, though connectivity can sometimes be inconsistent. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and basic amenities. The mess food is average but offers variety, while the canteen provides snacks and refreshments. Medical facilities and sports infrastructure are available, though they can be improved in terms of accessibility and quality.

Faculty: VTU’s Computer Science faculty are generally well-qualified and helpful, though teaching quality can vary. Average and poor students can also afford the fees.

Placements: 10% are placed in the previous year; there is no guarantee for placement but we can try to place them at any college campus. The visiting company is TCS. The highest package is INR 600000, and the lowest is INR 200000. 50% of students got internships at Infosys. Software testing is the highest role offered.

Infrastructure: Library, lab, classroom, gym, etc. are available. BCM hostel is best for everything like food, mess, and medical support. In college, there is no support for sports, and no fest will be conducted frequently. Only three fest like traditional day, college day, freshers day, and send-off, took place in our college.

Faculty: Yes, all teachers are well qualified, teach very well, and provide support in any aspect. There are no difficulties in the exam; all is going smoothly. The VTU question paper is a little bit difficult; otherwise, no problem in exams. 95% are the passing percentage, and students do not have any backlogs.
