In my view, this college excels in infrastructure, faculty, and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Students graduating from this college often crack the NEET PG exam and do PG in one of 18 subjects of MBBS, that is, MD or MS. The placement percentage is 80 percent. Here, the top course is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS other paramedical courses are also available.)
Infrastructure: Classrooms, lecture theatre, and AC are provided. The library is also fully AC. There are separate libraries for boys and girls. There are separate labs for each department. The hostel facility is one of the best. The mess is also good. Since it is a medical college, the medical facilities are too good. Infrastructure is best.
Faculty: In my college, faculty members are from various subjects because in the MBBS course there are a total of 18 subjects, and there are separate faculty members SR (senior resident ), JR (junior resident), assistant professor, and tutor. They are highly knowledgeable and qualified faculty members.
Other: Since I want to become a doctor, I have chosen the MBBS course. In this course, I just want to improve my various types of skills. Here, many types of extracurricular activities are also conducted.

Government Medical College, Bettiah -Pride of North Bihar.
Placements: Government Medical College, Bettiah, is a government medical college, so we don't have campus placement offers. However, as an MBBS degree holder, there are many opportunities after college. In addition, the hospital OPD has the highest number of patients in Bihar, after PMCH, which gives us the opportunity to excel in our knowledge.
Infrastructure: Our college recently completed its 10th year of offering MBBS seats. For a relatively new college, the infrastructure is quite good compared to other colleges in Bihar. The campus is fully air-conditioned and well-equipped with laboratories, a library, and a lecture theater. The college is a source of pride for Bettiah.
Faculty: Our college has a shortage of faculty, which is common in most Indian institutions. However, the faculty we do have are well qualified and provide adequate instruction to enhance our practical and theoretical knowledge. Students must pass three internal exams and one university exam, each of which requires a score of at least 50%.
Other: I chose MBBS because I wanted to become a doctor and treat the needy. I enjoy playing badminton and volleyball, so I was disappointed that there weren't more extracurricular activities offered.

There is an extremely high number of patients, in GMC, Bettiah.
Placements: 100% students get internship in this college. All the staffs and professors are very good in this college. About 60% students who pass from this college, get PG seats in their first attempt.
Infrastructure: All the labs are well maintained. There is an old library, and a new library is to be builded. Girls hostel is inside the campus, but boys hostel inside the campus is not yet completed. Mess is very good. There is a badminton court inside the campus.
Faculty: All the professors are very helpful, and friendly. Semester exams are easy to pass. MBBS course from any government medical college, is the dream of almost all the students, who prepare for this course. So, don't get any second thought in your mind to do this course from government medical college.
Other: Currently, I am in the 2nd year. Campus is upto the mark, and very good.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements. Students can go for higher studies or work in government or private hospitals. Our college provides internships with a salary of Rs. 20,000 - Rs.25,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well-constructed. Our classrooms are neat. Our labs are well-equipped with all equipment. Our library is filled with many books, journals, and resources.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very good. The lab faculty members help us during our practicals. CBME curriculum is followed in MBBS, which prepares you as a great doctor. Exams are difficult and depend on the university. Many students pass exams. Semester exams are conducted on time.

Placements: MBBS graduates from GMC Bettiah primarily pursue post-graduation through NEET PG or INI CET. Many secure PG seats in reputed institutes across India. While direct placements are uncommon some join government jobs or rural service as medical officers in Bihar and other states.

I am not satisfied from this college.
Placements: In, the government medical college bettiah, results from PG is outstanding. Than other colleagues in Bihar. Last year, in 2024 one of our senior from 17 Batch got rank under 300. also, we heard from our faculty and seniors that. Every year, our college gave, more PG results with prestigious branch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of, this college is much better than other colleges, like (anmch etc. ). It, has library. Made of fiber, but new has been constructed. Soon, it will be started. No Wi-Fi facility in library, hostel. No canteen in college. There is only a small badminton court, and a volleyball court made recently. Which was funded by us and a faculty. Principal don't give found for anything. Mess food is average. Hostels are surely alloted to girls, but most junior batch (boys)have to stay out of campus. Because they are not alloted in 1st year.
Faculty: Faculty, are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, but. Comes 1or 2 days in week, because of large distance. Some departments faculty are quite better, like :anatomy, pharmacology etc. Basically, from second year. You have to study by yourself through online platform. Here, in postings from second year, no doctors show support. Semester questions levels are medium. But there is no strict rules for percentage. Sent up is given on the basis of attendance. Here, you have to take stand and put efforts for your success. From second year, also. Practical are decreased because of lack of chemical, instruments.
Other: No, events in college. Only saraswati puja is organised, which is also funded by us. If, any other events like, holi milan. Is if organised, again funded by us. Things are so, out of hand that. White coat ceremony of junior and farewell of seniors are funded by us. Principal don't give a single penny of found for events. No scholarship programme for poor background students. No, extracurricular activities. Campus, is in city. No problem of going market. I think, if this college improve it's academics. Then it will be a best thing.
