Our college is the best with excellent construction and also best faculty.

Placements: More placements are available in the electrical department. At Government Engineering College Rajkot, placements are better than in other colleges in Gujarat. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies include L&T and infotech company in Rajkot.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college and hostel is very beautiful and amazing. Atmosphere and infrastructure of college are the same as home. All facilities are available at the hostel and college, for example water supply, Wi-Fi, electricity, etc. A total of several branches are available at our college.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are better than other colleges. Faculty members in the electrical department are like family members. Exams of the electrical department in our college include mid-term exams, which are online and out of 30 marks, and final GTU exams, which are offline and out of 70 marks.

There are very nice facilities and very nice teaching.

Placements: Almost 80% of our seniors were placed from B.Tech CSE department in top companies for the roles of an app developer, web developer and other top roles. They got an average salary package of around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Almost 90% of the students were offered the opportunity for internships in top companies.

Infrastructure: The department has well-maintained classrooms with Wi-Fi, air-conditioners and a clean environment. There is Wi-Fi on every floor with high-speed internet. I never felt that the internet speed was slow to hinder my work. The floors were clean, and the restrooms were very hygienic. The library was very well maintained and had books for all subjects. We could easily find every book. The hostel was very good in terms of food, and all other facilities were available. Every floor had high-speed Wi-Fi and clean drinking water. The security of the hostel was very well maintained, and outsiders were not allowed to enter the hostel.

Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and knowledgeable. They help in clearing all the doubts. The course curriculum is very relevant and helps us to gain knowledge that helps in various other fields. The course curriculum makes students gain industry-level knowledge. The exams are really easy, and the pass percentage was 98% for the first year.

Other: I chose this course because I have had a keen interest in computers since my childhood. The best thing about CSE is that I was able to explore more about computers, how they are used in places apart from offices or homes and many other things. Overall, the course is really good and does not need any improvement. The overall campus life includes amazing events, fests, etc. There are various societies that help you get engaged in various fun activities. Overall, campus life is very good here.
