Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt. PG College for Women, Gandhi Nagar (Cluster University of Jammu).
Placements: There is no type of placement offered by our college to any students, but they offer a paid internship to students, and students have to get a job on their own. Students have to learn skills in this college to get a job after graduating.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-maintained infrastructure and good buildings, and has different types of departments which have very good faculty. They help students and college have different parks and different playgrounds, and also have a huge parking ground, which is huge, and the college has a huge amount of land.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, they help all students, from toppers to average students, and help students to score well in exams. The teachers are so qualified, all are Ph.D. professors and have good teaching quality, and my course has less exposure to relevant Science courses. The semester exams are not very difficult, students can score well by studying one night before the exam, and the pass percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I love economics, and I have an interest in the arts. One thing I want to improve in this course is that students can focus on practical, not just theory. Our college provides a scholarship to some students on the basis of their 12th percentage and CUET percentage.
