B.Des. in Industrial Design - Batch of 2027
4.8
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
B.Des at GGSIPU, expectations vs reality.
Placements: B. Des placement rates are usually average with roles in design. Studios' branding, retail, and media outfits offering salaries between 3 and 6 LPA. On the other hand, internships are easier to find compared to final placements, and they help in networking. Overall, I would say placements are average for design students. Individual effort, portfolio, and strength matter a lot.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the campus is pretty solid. Overall, you will find centralized air-conditioned academic blogs with smart classrooms that are loaded with projector IC tools and AV labs. There are multiple computer and departmental labs. The library is fully automated and has essential air-cooled stock with a lot of books, e-books, journals, and major digital databases. There's also a fully functioning cafeteria, multipurpose hall, Wi-Fi, and auditorium for events.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified, supportive, and genuinely knowledgeable about design, at least that's what my parents and I have noticed so far. The curriculum is structured thoughtfully around foundation years. Lots of hands and exposure. Real project site visits, case studies, and educational trips are regularly done, which make you feel like you're learning something beyond only the theory part. We get 3 theory exams and 4 practical exams per semester. So you're not just asked to write SS, but we are also designing, representing, and depending on our work within a panel.
Other: Main festival of our college is the annual cultural last, which is Anugoonj, it lasts for three days in February and gets a lot of audience, not just from the main campus but over 127 affiliated IP colleges, it is filled with music, dance, drama workshops, and everything campus also runs a small scale and meaningful convenor events like speaker sessions, and interviews, smart India hackathon, NSS drives.

B. Tech. in Automation and Robotics - Batch of 2028
4.4
4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Facilities and faculty are good, placement is not that good, but yes, it can be.
Placements: In my batch, 50% of students got placed, and highest package is around 65 LPA, and lowest package is around 7 LPA. Students can get their internship from 2nd year, although percentage of internships is quite low, but yes, it will increase over the year, number of tech companies is larger.
Infrastructure: University School of Automation and Robotics offers a well-structured academic infrastructure to support the B.Tech in automation and robotics programme. Course is equipped with modern classrooms, specialized laboratories for robotics, automation, and embedded systems, as well as computer labs with updated software tools for simulation and design. The institute also encourages hands-on learning through workshops, industry projects, and research initiatives. In terms of accommodation, the university provides hostel facilities that are well-maintained and student-friendly, offering essential amenities such as furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, mess facilities, common rooms, and a safe environment.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, although they are strict in terms of internal marks, but overall, teachers are very good in terms of behaviour and academics too. Obviously, the course is relevant and also there are many subjects like human ethics and soft skills that make a student industry-ready in all forms. Mid-semester is very difficult, and end-semester is in medium range like neither difficult nor easy. Passing percentage is 80%.

B. Tech. in Industrial Internet of Things - Batch of 2028

Engineering in East Delhi - A complete review of the course and campus life.
Placements: Around 70-85% of students from the computer science and related branches get placed every year. The placement scenario is better for students with good academic records, project portfolio, and competitive coding skills. The highest package is 12 LPA - 27 LPA (offered by product-based companies like GoDaddy). The lowest package is 3 LPA to 4 LPA (service-based companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys).
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available across campus, including libraries and labs. Speed is decent for academic use (browsing, online classes, github, coding platform). Some buildings may have a weak signal, but overall access is satisfactory. Classrooms are spacious, ventilated, and equipped with projectors. Smart classrooms (in select buildings) are used for important lectures and seminars. Rooms are provided on a shared basis (2/3 students per room). Basic furniture bed, study table, chair, and cupboard are available.
Faculty: Most professors hold M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees from reputed institutes like IITs, NITs, and Delhi-based universities. Guest lecturers from industry are sometimes invited for specialized topics. Teaching style is theoretical with blackboard or projector-based explanation. Some professors use real-world examples and case studies, especially in final-year electives. Coding-centric subjects (like DSA, DBMS, and OS) depend heavily on self-study and external resources. Semester exams are moderately difficult. It is mostly theory-based, with direct questions from lectures or previous papers. Application or case-based questions are rare, though they are increasing slowly.
Other: I chose B.Tech in computer science because of my strong interest in technology, problem-solving, and innovation. The field offers vast career opportunities from software development and artificial intelligence to cybersecurity and data science. Its a future-proof domain with excellent growth potential and scope for creativity and entrepreneurship. Best things about the course are that strong core curriculum subjects like data structures, DBMS, OS, and networking provide a solid technical foundation. There is high demand in job market, opportunities are abundant in MNCs, startups, and government sectors. Even off-campus options are strong. More industry-driven curriculum, including trending technologies like cloud, devOps, cybersecurity, blockchain, and AI frameworks should be formalized. Some colleges still use outdated systems, better hardware and licensed software can help. More practical exposure like real-world projects, industrial visits, and startup tie-ups should be encouraged from early semesters. More faculty members with corporate or research experience would improve quality.

B. Tech. in Automation and Robotics - Batch of 2028

Great infrastructure and labs are available for everything, but campus sociability is low.
Placements: We are gaining the knowledge. About 60% or more students get placed, though it varies from branch to branch. The highest package, I guess, is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Basic automation and AI companies hire from here. Roles like cloud engineer, software developer, and similar positions are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, maybe the most uniquely designed among all in Delhi. The canteen was recently closed but has reopened. It has spacious rooms. The food is average, not something to brag about, and the prices are normal now. They were inflated during my first semester but after complaints. This shows that the justice system here works well, and the prices were dropped down to normal.
Faculty: Faculty is good, with highly professional professors. There are various tech and non-tech clubs that makes students ready for the industry and extracurricular activities. Semester exams are decent so far. I haven't faced any difficulties in passing, but I still need to study. You can't just wander around. You need to show your work, only then does the university acknowledge it.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2028
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Really good infrastructure and facilities, cooperative teachers, and good placements.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students get placements. The lowest average package is about 3 LPA to the highest is 12 LPA. There are so many companies who came for the recruitment. Students must have above 80% for the internships to get high firm for the internships where they have to do dissertation and thesis for an architecture course.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, computer labs, studio for architecture with good table, and also have regular site visits or trips once a semester. Hostel has good infrastructure. We also have medical facilities. There is a sports court. Auditorium is also available. Hostel provides good food.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. All teachers have many years of experience. Architecture is a relevant course who like to design a space and building and have the capacity to think of innovative design. Passing percentage is about 50%.
Other: Because of my interest, I chose architecture. It is also a good course who like to make building and thought of innovative. College does have events and annual fests. Campus is crowded and they have scholarships. They also have so many clubs for extra-curricular activities.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2025

A detailed review of GGSIPU-EDC (USAR) by its own student.
Placements: About 10% of students got placed in my batch. The highest package offered by Godaddy (11 LPA) before it came at the package of 28 LPA. Later it was given 11 LPA and it hired 2 students from the entire campus. Roles offered are data analyst and support engineer. 2-3% of students got internships on campus and many students cracked off-campus only.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top of the bar. The campus is fully air-conditioned and the desks are well cushioned also. In every class, we have smart boards which are working. We also have a projector whenever we need it, just ask the office they will provide the key.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful but some teachers are not that good. They just want you to bully us in their own way to show how powerful they are. The course curriculum is not that relevant, not all the desired teachers are taught which helps to become the data scientist.
Other: I chose this course because of the trends in data science. I wish they could add more practical subjects that help to be a good data analyst. Events and fests are not that good but we also get the chance to go to the main Dwarka campus.
