B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2023

It is a small college trip of 4-year memories.
Placements: At least 60% of students in my batch got placed in mechanical engineering at multinational companies. Bhatia and Company, Kamal Hyundai, Kia Galaxy, SAS Agrotech, Krisscon Global Private Limited, and each sector companies give jobs to our college students of my batch. 90% of students got internships in top companies.
Infrastructure: My college gives great and best hostel facility with AC rooms and mess food for students. Our college has free Wi-Fi for learning and high-tech labs for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. Their teaching quality is the best. They clearly explained every topic so no students have doubts. My course has the subject engineering drawing which is a must for every mechanical engineer, which helps me a lot in my career.
Other: My course is mechanical engineering and I chose this sector because I have a great interest in my sector which my teachers and seniors remember me even nowadays. The best thing is my college provides scholarships for students who can't afford the course. My college conducts sports week for all students in which extracurricular activities are held and at the end of the day, DJ night is organised by college management.

The college fails to provide proper education and career opportunities.
Placements: One of the biggest disappointments in this college was the complete lack of placement opportunities. While students generally scored above a 7 CGPA, this did not translate into job offers or career growth. In my whole academic, there were no placements at all, leaving us to try off-campus. This college did not have strong industry connections or partnerships with companies, which severely impacted placement opportunities. Students were forced to search for job opportunities on their own, which defeated the whole purpose of attending the engineering college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college was very poor. There was only one building for B.Tech, and each department occupied a single floor, with each class for a year. The libraries were terrible, offering no useful books, and labs were poorly maintained with no internet and no software in the system, making practical learning impossible. There was a B.Pharm and D.Pharm department in the college, which provided medical facilities, but the college didn't have any proper medical facilities. In case of emergency, there were no hospitals nearby. The hostel facilities were equally disappointing. The infrastructure did not support any industry-oriented learning
Faculty: The faculty at this college was highly qualified and their teaching methods were effective. Professors were interested in their jobs and frequently applied for other universities, leaving students with an unstable learning experience. The curriculum solely focused on theoretical knowledge, failing to equip students with the practical skills needed for the industry. Exams at this college were relatively easy, students literally studied one day before the exam and still got a 7 CGPA. As a result, students scored well on paper but lacked the skills.

Overall, college is good but placement is very poor.
Placements: No students were placed from our course. No students got internships from our course in companies. There are very poor placements I'm not satisfied.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi available for students, classrooms are okay but labs are so bad half computers in lab are not working and also practical class is not good. Library is only for book issue not for reading. Overall facilities are poor.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and supportive. Teachers are very helpful also my HOD is good. She is very supportive, also knowledge of teachers is very good, and some of teachers teaching qualities are perfect. Semester exams are tough, but toughness is perfect for the course.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in computer life. The best thing is we study deeply on computer but the worst thing is overbooked chapters is 90s technology. Please change the course and make it for new technology chapters. Only 2 events are conducted in the year, first is sports week and the second is freshers and farewell party, crowd is poor.

Honest review of Gurukul Institute of Engineering and Technology .
Placements: I am in my fourth year at the CSE branch and there has been no placement or I have not heard of any company that has come for placement till now. They have mentioned many companies in their brochure but none of them is there for placement until now in 2024. Please don't take admission here if you want on-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the biggest flaw of this college after placements. There is a lab for CSE students but the system doesn't work. The computers there are only for online examinations or showpieces. Classroom walls are dirty but okay. You can study there. There are hostel facilities available but I don't know about food. There is a small canteen or it would be better if you called it a shop. There is a cricket field, volleyball and a basketball court. They also organize sports events every year.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and experienced but some faculty members are below average; their teaching quality is poor and you can't understand a single topic taught by them. They help you if you are stuck and repeat the topic if you want. The course curriculum is the same as at every college affiliated with RTU. It is also affiliated with RTU. I would say the course curriculum doesn't make students industry ready but this is the same for almost every college. Passing semester exams is either easy or moderately difficult. Semester exams are taken by RTU itself, and the center is any other college.
Other: I would like to add that this college is best for those students who want a decent college to complete a B.Tech. As there is no pressure for attendance, it is also good for those students who want to prepare for GATE or any other government competition exams while pursuing B.Tech. There are fests like freshers parties, sports tournaments, and other Indian festive celebrations, but keep in mind that you have to pay for each event.

All is good when I SEE that fees is just 40k per year!
Placements: Around 40-50% students were placed from my senior batch. The highest package goes around 5LPA and average is just near 2.6LPA. Companies like Zeetron or LEAD group came here. Although salary can be called decent but job profile or position is not good at ground level.
Infrastructure: Basically in terms of hostel, I just decided not to live in hostel on my first visit. Hostels and campus both are good but washrooms were too dirty. Library provides good facilities. Labs are also decent and are my favorite place. Sports and games were as good as there are in other private colleges.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum is the best part here. Teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. From first day to prime time of exams, teachers were always ready to help us out in every possible way. I still cannot decide if the course might make me industry ready. Exams are normal as it should be like in other colleges or universities and pass percentage is not there. Every engineering student knows there are credits which define whether we are going to pass of not!

It is a fine college with good placements.
Placements: At the start of the third year or 5th semester, students start preparing themselves for placements, but till the end of the 7th semester, almost 90% of students are placed every year. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Zensor, and many service-based companies visit to hire students. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: I would rate 8 for the hostel out of 10, because the hostel is situated outside the city and students want to travel around 20 km. The food served in the hostel is good. The other facilities are better in this college.
Faculty: In this college, faculty members are very good. They help every student and also provide good knowledge in the classroom. Many types of other technical activities are held in our college. Teachers' behavior is good, and they are punctual in their daily routine.
