Dissatisfied with faculty and study environment. It used to be a good and popular college.

Placements: Very few students got placements based on the B.Sc. degree from HD Jain College. Maybe it was because it was a local college with very limited reach and low popularity. It used to be a reputed and popular college in 2000, but it was now just a college by name.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was available in the college, but it was of no use because students rarely got access to college resources. Also, equipment in the science lab was mostly damaged or not usable. Students were not allowed to use the lab, library, or any equipment.

Faculty: Teachers were not at all helpful. Mostly, they were absent. Since the level of education in this college was very poor due to the careless behavior of teachers and management authorities, no student was industry-ready. Semester exams were like a joke. Students copied directly from books.

Other: College had around 3,000 seats. But around 10,000 students were admitted. I chose it because it was affordable. It was one of the top colleges in my city. It was like a study-on-your-own college.

Good academic environment but limited placements and basic facilities.

Placements: B.Sc. Chemistry (2023?27), SVP College, Bhabua (VKSU): Campus placements are very limited, with around 5?10% students placed. Package details are generally not formally disclosed; students mostly pursue higher studies, competitive exams, or off-campus roles. Top roles include Lab Assistant, Quality Control Trainee, and internships in local labs/pharma unit.

Infrastructure: Facilities & Infrastructure (B.Sc. Chemistry): The department has basic laboratories with essential instruments, regular classrooms, and a central library with standard textbooks and reference books; Wi-Fi availability is limited. Hostel, Mess & Other Facilities: Hostel facilities are basic, food quality in the mess/canteen is average, medical facilities are limited, and sports and games facilities are available at a basic level.

Faculty: Faculty & Teaching Quality: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and generally helpful. Teaching quality is average to good, mainly theory-focused with limited practical exposure. Curriculum Relevance & Industry Readiness: The curriculum is academically relevant but not fully industry-oriented. Students need extra certification, internships, or higher studies to be industry ready. Exams & Pass Percentage: Semester exams are of moderate difficult. With regular study, most students pass; the pass percentage is around 80?90%. .

Other: Batch & Course: B.Sc. Chemistry (2023?27) at SVP College, Bhabua (VKSU) is a regular undergraduate Science course with a strong academic focus. Why I Chose This Course / Best Things: I chose this course due to my interest in Chemistry and its usefulness for higher studies and competitive exams. The best parts are a structured syllabus, supportive teachers, and a strong theoretical foundation. What Can Be Improved: More advanced lab equipment, industry exposure, internships, and campus placements would greatly improve the course.
