Good courses but bad college vibes.
Placements: 100+ students have taken admission in BCA. The college offers a Flagship programme (add on courses) with general BCA. The fee structure for BCA is 3.5 Lacs in total for 3 years. Flagship course costs an additional of 25k. Dell, Himalaya, Cipla, etc. are the top recruiting companies. Data analyst, computer engineer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are great for BCA as the college has a newly built building just for the management courses. The hostel is average and the food is not that great. There is an annual sports meet which will last for over 3 days. There is also another annual function known as Harshotsava.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly newly recruited, so most of them lack experience. The course curriculum is fine, it does include updated subjects and makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exams are not that hard. If we study properly with notes, the exams are easy to ace.
Other: The college is under the Bangalore University which is a bit strict. Opposite gender interactions are limited. There are cameras in every single corner of the college. The annual fest ‘Harshotsava’ is great which is the main attraction of this college.

Harsha Institute of Management Studies: Good or Bad?
Placements: The college claims that they give placements in many multinational companies like IBM, Wipro, TCS, etc. No batch of BCA has passed out. The first BCA batch is still studying, and in 2025, they will pass. After that, only we can say anything about it.
Infrastructure: Classes are all good with excellent air circulation and comfort. When it comes to facilities, there is no Wi-Fi for students, and the elevator is there but not for students. There is a digital library, only accessible to MCA students. The library only consists of textbooks, nothing else is there. In every classroom, there is a smart board, but some of the smart boards have connection issues. When we talk about the hostel, it is currently under construction, but students can stay in the completed rooms. A cafeteria is there. NB: Students can't keep their phones with them during class hours.
Faculty: There are faculty members for every subject, but they keep changing frequently. All faculty members are really knowledgeable. Course certificates are given by Bangalore University, and exams are also done by them. So, it’s good. The syllabus is easy to study. .
Other: All the celebrations and functions done in the college are really great, and everyone enjoys them. Most people in the college are from Kerala, even though it is in Bangalore. Here, we celebrate all the festivities of Kerala as well as Karnataka.

Q:   Can I get into Harsha Institutions for MBA with 60 marks in Karnataka PGCET?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Admission to Harsha Institutions for an MBA through Karnataka PGCET typically depends on the cut-off marks for the year, which can vary based on several factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, and overall performance of the candidates.

With 60 marks, your chances will depend on how these factors play out in the current admission cycle. If the cut-off is lower this year, you might have a chance, but if it's higher, you may need to consider alternative options or colleges.

You can also check the previous year's cut-off trends or directly contact Harsha Institutions for the most accurate and updated information regarding your admission chances.
