December 28, 2021: The second edition of the global event ‘Initium – Business Plan Challenge’ will be held in Bengaluru by HETIC, the French School of Digital Leadership. It's time to transform brilliant ideas into a comprehensive business plan and compete for cash rewards!
The institute completed the maiden edition of Initium, its main competitive event across India, last year. Over 150 schools and institutions from throughout India participated in HETIC, with over 300 registrations and 58 elevator presentations. Overwhelmed by its success, the institute has decided to go global this time!
After numerous rounds of review on company concepts spanning from waste management to sustainability to new entrepreneurial ventures, the winners were chosen. Seven finalists from India, Europe, and the United States were chosen and presented to distinguished jury. From the worldwide jury selection, the previous champion team and two runner-ups dominated the Business plan competition.

This year, we hope to hold Initium all over the world with a stellar jury. The goal of Initium is to encourage students to become entrepreneurs. Teams must come up with a new service or product offering based on the subject and develop a business strategy to support it. Through seminars created and presented by our expert academics, all participants will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to master App Development and Business Plan. In order to increase social media engagement, participating teams will also develop concept pitch videos. The tournament will begin accepting registrations on January 8, 2022. Participants can register and reserve their slots by going online.

In each category, winners will get cash awards of INR 20,000 and INR 10,000, as well as scholarships worth INR 50,000. Mentorship and incubation help will be provided to the winning business proposal team.
