Once you come to HIMT, your life will change entirely.

Faculty: For my GME course, we get Chief Engineers for the classes. They are really experienced persons in the shipping industry. The curriculum at HIMT is designed to provide a solid foundation in the respective fields, with a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. It is updated regularly to align with industry standards and trends.

HIMT college has a good placement record.

Faculty: HIMT teaching faculty are experienced seamen. They share their knowledge and, apart from that, they share their sailing experience, such as how to handle emergency situations on board a ship, what troubleshooting they have done, and how to be strong mentally and physically on board a ship.

My experience at HIMT pursuing GME.

Faculty: When we talk about faculty-student ratio it is 1:40 for theory classes and when we go for practical it's 1:8. Overall we get close attention from our faculty members and instructors. Our faculty members are ex-seafarers comprising seasoned chief engineers and master mariners. We get to interact with all our doubts clearly on time. Our faculty members also mentor us to be ship-ready by the time we complete the course. GME course curriculum is vast as we need to acquire the ship engineering knowle...

Good College, Recently Good Placements, Good Faculty, and Highly Qualified Faculty Members.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and help a lot in learning. Engineers who have sailed or are sailing come to teach, so they bring real-world scenarios. For GME, we have two semesters, each worth 100 marks, consisting of 50 objective questions and a written exam. There are class tests every month.
