Process for admission in BSc is given below: The admission to BSc. H & HA is taken on the basis of rank secured by the candidate in NCHM JEE, conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). After appearing for NCHM JEE, the shortlisted candidate need to participate in the Centralised counseling process divided into 1st,2nd and 3rd and the last which is the spot round. In this process, candidates will be allotted institute on the basis of rank achieved in NCHM JEE and choice of institute filled by the candidate. After allotment, the candidate must lock in the institute by paying the acceptance fee, which will be adjusted towards the first-semester fee. After all the rounds the candidate have to either download the application form from the official website and post it to mentioned address with required information and documents or personally go to the college, buy the application form and information brochure and then submit it with all the original form mentioned in the form. The next step is verification of documents by Document Verification Center Next, the candidate need to physically report at college and opt for hostel.

IHM Dehradun admission to courses is both entrance-based and merit-based. The institute is also known as the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Dehradun is the newly made IHM in India offering full-time BSc in H & HA in association with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida and Indira Gandhi National Open University. Good faculty members in the college.

Placements: There is 100% placement in IHM Dehradun College. Many hotels and retail companies come for the interview, like Starbucks, Bira91, McDonald's, Arvind Fashion, and many more. The placement coordinator helps students to give the best interviews from the student side.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. After few months new course is going to start in IHM Dehradun, masters in hotel management and for masters students those who are studying in IHM college they got new hostel only for masters students.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good they explain everything and in practical classes they are amazing, students gets new things to learn. There are many faculty members who are teach every subject. There is one french teacher he comes from France to teach french language for the new students 1st year to know the language of France.

Other: There are diploma and bachelor courses. Diploma in bakery and food and beverages department, there is one more new course that is going to be added soon, masters in hotel management.

Satisfied with the amazing infrastructure and view and also because of placements.

Placements: Many big companies and ventures like Reliance, Arvind Fashion, Taj, Oberoi, and many more come there for placements. Even big hotel groups like Taj, Oberoi, etc. come there for internships too. They hire for many big positions like managers, and even a few hire us as Management Trainees. The package is also good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel are extremely beautiful. All the classrooms have air conditioning. The food in the mess is good too. We also have a very large ground for outdoor games. They also have Wi-Fi in college. The hostel and college are neat and clean.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers were very helpful. Once they gave us a research project in which they also helped us so much and even in the placements and internships too. They were very qualified in their fields. They kept us ready for the industry. Of course, the exams were a little bit difficult, but if you attend their classes regularly, then it’s good for the exam.

Good campus and faculty. Very nice location .

Placements: In every batch, there are approximately 120 students. The average package provided by the campus is 35 to 45, as per my programme. Recruiting companies are Taj, Marriott, Oberoi, Hayat and ITC Lemon Tree, etc. Almost every student got placement from the college and in a good salary package .

Infrastructure: All over, good infrastructure and faculty members are in our college, and they are very friendly and supportive in nature. The hostel facilities are good, and the food provided by the mess is also very good and hygienic. All over, everything is nice and good .

Faculty: The teaching quality is very nice. There will be daily practical classes going on, which were done by ourselves once they taught us. After that, they told us to make it by ourselves for practice. So, that's a very good point of learning. It made learning easy .

The placement are average .

Placements: 60-70 percent of students are placed in my batch. The average package offered is between 300000 - 400000 per annum. The top recruiting companies were the Taj group of hotels, Starbucks, Aditya Birla group, Bira 91. Hundred percent of students got internships, mostly were in the Leela group of hotels and the Hyatt group of hotels. The top roles offered is a position of assistant manager.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the campus, the classrooms are clean and spacious, the practical labs and kitchen are also very spacious, clean and tidy. The campus also have a library filled with good books that helped us to gain more knowledge. There is no canteen in the college the quality of food in the mess is fine. There is a doctor who comes to the college every Friday for checkups. And there is a football and cricket Ground in the campus and a basketball court as well.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. It is not that difficult to pass the semester exams. The pass percentage is 40 percent. The course curriculum is mostly outdated. It doesn't unnecessarily makes us industry ready as the curriculum is very old and irrelevant in the modern industry.

Other: No college fest, the faculty is fairly strict and it feels like you are in a school.

Placements: I am in my first year now. But I have seen my seniors getting placements in good hotels. Top hotels come to our college for campus placement but this time due to covid it was done through online mode but through that also many students were selected by hotels for various posts.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is fantastic and very organised. The hostel building is also very good. The college has various facilities like the gymnasium, snooker room, mice and many for facilities. The hostel building is also very good and very spacious.

Faculty: The best part of the college is the faculty and their way of teaching the students. It's very understandable. The faculty of every department whether it be housekeeping, food production, from the office, or food and beverage service is very good and hard working.

Placements: Almost 99% of the total students were placed in good hotels and retail outlets during the placement process. The highest salary package was Rs. 33,000 per month and the lowest salary package was Rs. 20,000 per month. The top hotels like Taj and Ritz-Carlton for placement in our college. The top roles offered by hotels were MT and executives.

Infrastructure: Our college has top facilities like a library, the best classrooms, good infrastructure, a playing ground, a basketball court, a volleyball court, etc. are built for the betterment of students. The quality of food provided to students during lunch is absolutely good. The food in the hostel mess is good too.

Faculty: Teachers at our college are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the curriculum and industry, and they assist students in any way they can to help them make a better career out of their college experience. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant and easy to understand, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are easy and quite scoring, as the passing percentage is 40%.
