According to the placement report of IIIT Nagpur, some of the top companies that offered placements to BTech students in 2025 were IBM, Tech Mahindra, Llyod, IDFC First Bank, Flipkart and SBI. The BTech programme achieved an impressive record of 97.1% placement.

IIIT Nagpur JEE Main cutoff 2025 was declared for the final round for various categories under the All India quota. 

For the General AI quota, the overall cutoff ranged from 24516 to 56011. Considering the last round cutoff, the hardest course for admission was BTech in Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning).

However, the median package of IIIT Nagpur was INR 12 LPA which was better than that of VNIT at INR 8.3 LPA. Also, the average package at IIIT Nagpur was INR 14.96 LPA which was better than the average package of INR 10.7 LPA So it can be said that the placement record of IIIT Nagpur was better than VNIT overall.

You can get a refund of the fee that you have paid for BTech at IIIT Nagpur. For this you have to submit a request to the college to cancel your admission within 15 days from the start of classes. In this case you will get a refund of 75% of tuition fee when the Admission Cancellation Process gets completed. But if you submit this request after 15 days from the start of classes, then you will not get any refund.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For JEE Main Round 6 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 30936 and closing rank was 36175 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. IIIT Nagpur offers BTech, PhD, and other courses to students in a full-time mode. The programmes are offered in the streams of Engineering, IT, and Software.
