IIIT Nagpur reviewed by its student.
Placements: The placement rate is good, at about 89 percent. Top companies like Alpha Grep, Amazon, Google, Intuit, and TCS come here and recruit students. The highest package is 96 LPA off-campus and the lowest is not known. From the third year on, you tend to get internships for 6 months.
Infrastructure: The college has four buildings: academic, administrative, and hostels. Multiple facilities are available in the academic block, such as Wi-Fi, advanced labs with good processors and electronics and VLSI labs with good equipment. The hostel is also good, with average food quality but good facilities.
Faculty: The faculty here are well-studied and Ph.D. holders; they are not much experienced in teaching but they try to give the best of the knowledge they have. The courses here are relevant and make students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate to tough.

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur.
Placements: At IIIT Nagpur, almost 90% of students who are eligible for placements secure them. The highest package offered from IIITN in 2023 was 87 LPA. Companies hire students for roles such as SDE, web developer, data analyst, data engineer, AI engineer, etc. It is compulsory for students to do an internship in their final year, so almost all students complete internships during their final year.
Infrastructure: IIITN has its own permanent campus, which is still under development. It includes a hostel block for students and a residential block for faculty and staff members. All necessary facilities are available on campus. There is a small shop in the hostel block where students can find daily-use products. Every room in the hostel has a LAN connection, and Wi-Fi routers are also provided in the hostel, classrooms, and labs. The college provides a library and a reading room for students, where they can access all the course-related books. Hostel facilities and mess food are average.
Faculty: The teachers at IIITN are very helpful, well-qualified, and possess sound subject knowledge in their domains. The quality of teaching is good. The course curriculum is relevant for all branches, preparing students for the industry. The difficulty level of semester exams ranges from moderate to hard. To pass the exams, students need to score a minimum of 40–50% overall.
Other: I am pursuing a specialization in data science within the computer science branch. I chose this course due to my interest in this domain, as it is relevant to the industry. The college community organizes mainly two festivals per year: one is the Teach Fest, and the other is the Cultural Fest. IIITN has around 1500 students. It is located quite far from Nagpur city, but connectivity from the city is good. There are no places for hanging out with friends nearby, as it is remotely located from the city. The college does not provide any scholarships.

Review of IIIT Nagpur - Indian Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: The placements here are good, approximately 180 companies visited here in the FY23-24 and given good offers and PPOs. Companies such as Amazon, Alpha Grep, Intuit, Google, etc. visited and took students with good offers. In data science, the scope is vast and the future is secured.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average to good; the campus is not so good. Well-equipped labs and furnished classrooms. Network is fast. The library is nice with all semester books available. Hostel is very good, with proper cleaning and hygiene. Mess food is average. One basketball court and one badminton court.
Faculty: Faculty is good and helpful, most faculty is highly qualified and Ph.D. holders from top institutes. Teaching quality is nice. Course curriculum is relevant and designed keeping in mind the latest trends in information technology; it makes the student industry-ready.

Overall, the college is good.
Placements: Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur placement 2023 has been concluded at 82.89% placement. The highest package is 86 lacs per annum, the average package is 14.03 lacs per annum, the medium package is 12 lacs per annum and the minimum package is 6 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur, is good. The railway station is 22 km away, the airport is 19.5 km away and the main bus stand is 18 km away. Hostel wi-fi is not very good because of the many uses but the LAN works well and the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: So in the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur, almost all faculty are good; they give their full efforts for students and at last, students must do something from their side also. We have two sessional exams and one end-of-semester exam in one semester.

Placements: More than 80% of the students were placed, and the highest salary offered was INR 86 lacs, with an average salary of INR 14.8 lacs. The most well-placed roles are data scientists and data analytics, which are well-paid positions.
Infrastructure: Facilities are so good in all IITs, and most of them have gyms, open gyms, basketball courts, tables, and many more. They also have Wi-Fi and LAN Ethernet, and a night canteen and mess are also present. Medical facilities are also provided, and there are always emergency cases.
Faculty: Teachers are very good at teaching skills; they always make their courses without Physics and Chemistry; they make them as difficult as what we need in future semester exams; most students get passed in exams, and they have a good passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of its growing popularity and requirements. Events are too good; we have Abhivyakti as a cultural fest, Techfest is also there, and sports events and DJ nights are also there.
