I'm not fully satisfied but got used to it.

Placements: The placements are quite good. The placement officer is working hard and seeking for 100 percent placement rate in this college. Placement-wise this college is great and it will get more placements than any college in future. That's it about IIITN.

Infrastructure: When it comes to hostel this is a biigggg 10 floors building where the network won't be available and the college Wi-Fi isn't that good. The mess is also quite bad for South India but this is getting better and better day by day. That's all about the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty are quite good. For the courses that you require mostly like DSA and web development are quite good but when it comes to the remaining subjects they are also good but a few aren't but we can get through it. While exams are pretty tough, they should be tough.

We are not satisfied with our college.

Placements: College placements are good. Many companies do not visit. However, better companies visit, with around two to three vacancies for our college students each year. The highest package is around 42 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is very limited. We do not have a badminton court, football field, or cricket ground. There is no sufficient place to play outdoor games, and indoor facilities are also not available. One badminton court is there, but it does not have a mat.

Faculty: The college faculty comes from higher professional colleges like IIITN, IIT, and NIT. They did their Ph.D. at those professional colleges and have around 3 to 4 years of research experience. They are experienced and friendly with our college students.

Good college, peaceful, but in a rural area, which can be a drawback.

Placements: The placement rate is 80%. The package is from 4-68 LPA. Top recruiters include Nvidia and Mindtickle. Internship data is not updated. But it is 90%. The main roles SDE and similar positions. Overall, placements are decent compare to IIIT Vadodara. It makes solid choice from placement perspective.

Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi, labs, Central AC and latest computers. The infrastructure is decent. The hostel is small. It is bit pricey. But corridors and common areas are cleaned regularly. It makes much better. The infrastructure is best. Even though the campus is not near the main city, but alright. However, mess has only veg food.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. The courses are the latest. Exams are easy, but the CGPA criteria are bad. The college location is a downside, and the gender ratio is bad. It is around 20:1 or even 30:1, which is a significant issue, especially since the college doesn’t follow the 33% women’s reservation criteria.

Other: Computer Science is a good branch of engineering. However, while the theoretical knowledge is there, the lab sessions need improvement.

Best faculty, but the infrastructure is not good.

Placements: According to our system, a CGPA above 7 is considered good for getting a job in our college. Good internships also come based on CGPA. If you have strong coding skills and participate in activities like hackathons. Placements are good.

Infrastructure: We do not have very good infrastructure. We do not have sufficient playgrounds to play cricket or other outdoor games like volleyball and football. There is one badminton court, but it is not good. We have only four buildings. The academic building, administrative building, residential building, and hostel building. That’s it.

Faculty: Faculty in our college is very good. They are highly professional and many have completed their Ph.D. from NIT, IIIT, and other reputed institutions. They also have significant certificates from research centers and are very experienced. The examination pattern includes midterm examinations and a semester exam, and our faculty corrects those papers.

Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur - Is it worthy?

Placements: There are good companies coming to the campus. If you work hard, you can grab a good placement for yourself. The average this year goes around 13 LPA - 14 LPA, and the highest domestic is around 47 LPA. Major portion is from startups like Portor, Zepto, Zomato, and a few giants like Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and Nvidia.

Infrastructure: Average infrastructure with all the basics available like library, reading room, and hostel but there is one point. There is only one hostel, therefore the location goes on a first-come cum first-served basis. Otherwise, the college tasks students to stay by finding their own means or to take a hostel which is in contact with college but is extremely expensive.

Faculty: For the first year, few teachers are adjunct professors who are actually doing their PhDs from the institute, then next year onwards. Students get Ph.D. holders as teachers. The curriculum is fair enough which is not very difficult. The exam from this year is normal mid-semester and end-semester format.

Can I get B.Tech CSE in any top IIIT with 80789 OBC rank in special round?

No, 80789 OBC jee main rank is not enough to get top IIITs . You must have a rank around 16,000 OBC JEE main rank or 36,000 OPEN JEE main rank to get admission in top IIITs.

No chance for CSE in IIIT-Nagpur if you belong to the general category. There may be some chances in CSAB but not in JoSAA rounds.
