- The XAT 2026 result is out for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Students need to log in to the official XAT portal to access and download their scorecard.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/Mtech and PhD courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

IIIT Pune admission 2025 is subject to a valid score in the national/state-level entrance exam along with the fulfilment of the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute. BTech, MTech, Certificate, and PhD are the programmes offered by the institution. STEP 1: IIIT Pune Application Process 2025
For IIIT Pune BTech admission, candidates must visit the official website of NTA to apply for the JEE Main entrance exam. For MTech admission, candidates need to apply for GATE. Further, candidates have to apply on the institute's official website for the PhD and Certificate course admission. Moreover, the aspirant shall ensure that the application form is submitted within the prescribed due date.
STEP 2: IIIT Pune Cutoff List
After the application process, the counselling bodies release a course-wise cutoff list. The cutoff list indicates the minimum required score in the respective entrance exam for a candidate to become eligible for admission. Candidates with a score equal to or more than the cutoff marks can apply.
STEP 3: IIIT Pune Counselling
Candidates applying for a BTech course further have to go through JoSAA for seat allotment and, for MTech admission, CCMT conducts the counselling round. While the candidates who apply for a PhD may have to go through an interview round.
STEP 4: IIIT Pune Admission Confirmation
After the selection rounds and counselling, seats are allotted to the eligible candidates. Selected students can further pay the required fee to confirm their seats. The admission/registration of the students shall be provisional and shall be subject to verification of the furnished documents with the original documents.
