IIIT Pune BTech Admission Dates 2026
IIIT Pune B.Tech admissions take place through the JEE Main exam as well as JoSAA counselling. Admission process starts with JEE Main Session 1 (held in January) and Session 2 (conducted in April). Candidates are required to submit the following documents while filling IIIT Pune BTech application form, and for admission confirmation:
- Class 10 and 12 marksheets
- Provisional admission letter
- Seat allotment letter
- Proof of payment of initial fee to JOSAA/ CSAB
- JEE Main admit card
- JEE Main scorecard
- Caste certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL)
- PwD certificate (original)
- Aadhar card
- Passport-size photographs
- Proof of fee receipt paid to IIITPune via NEFT
- BTech undertaking form
- Registration verification form
- Anti-ragging undertaking form (Parents/ Students)
- Parents'/ Guardians' contact details form
- OBC-NCL undertaking form
No, IIIT Pune only accepts the scores of JEE Mains for admission to BTech courses. Then, candidates must participate in the JoSAA/ CSAB counselling process post-JEE Main to secure a seat. However, the institute also accepts admission for BTech courses through DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad). Under this scheme, foreign nationals can apply through the centralised DASA portal.
NTA announced the JEE Main result 2025 session 1 on February 11. The result was declared online on the JEE Main 2025 website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates could check their scorecard by JEE Mains login 2025 using their application number and date of birth.
Candidates can check the JEE Main 2026 exam date allotted to them on their city intimation slip and JEE Main admit card. Candidates have to download the city intimation slip and admit card from the official website as per the schedule
The total tuition fee for the BTech programme at IIIT Pune is INR 7.20 lakh. To bring the tuition fee down IIIT Pune offers several scholarships to its students, such as fee reimbursement schemes for SC, ST, OBC, and EBC. The total tuition fee mentioned above is for the academic year 2022-23, hence is indicative.
