- The JEE Main 2027 session 1 exam dates have been announced on the official website for admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses. The exam will be held on Jan 22,2027 to Jan 24, 2027 and Jan 28, 2027 to Jan 30, 2027 respectively.

IIIT Trichy offers UG, PG and Doctoral-level courses. IIIT Trichy offers a four-year UG course of BTech across two specialisations. Admission to BTech is done through a national-level entrance exam, i.e., JEE Main, followed by JoSAA Counselling. Aspiring students need to qualify the exam with a valid score. IIIT Trichy offers M.Tech course at the PG level. This course is offered across multiple specialisations. Admission to M.Tech is based on a national-level entrance exam, followed by counselling. Finally, IIT Trichy offers PhD courses namely, Doctor of Philosophy in full-time mode. The admission criteria for the Doctor of Philosophy degree is based on the score of candidates in the respective national-level entrance exams.
The cutoff for IIT Trichy differs according to categories and rounds. For the General AI category, the cutoff ranged from 350 to 427 across various M.Tech specialisations. For both these categories, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering proved to be the toughest for admissions, with the qualifying cutoff score being 410 for OBC and 427 for the General AI category candidates. IIIT Trichy accepts the GATE exam score, followed by the CCMT counselling process for admissions to M.Tech courses.
As per mentioned by the institute, no direct admissions are provided. Candidates are admitted through scores of entrance exams. IIIT Trichy Admission 2024 is currently open for all the programmes. The institute accepts JEE Main scores for admission to its flagship course BTech. Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli has collaborated with several colleges and universities. The college has signed MoUs with various organisations and industries. The college's industry parts are TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Ramco Systems, Navitas and Elcot, and others.
As per the Shiksha verified review,"All the major equipment is available in the labs; Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus; and the hostels are well maintained and clean.
