To get admission in IIM Kozhikode, students need to check the eligibility first. Eligible students can then apply online. The institute selects students on an entrance basis mainly. Students have to appear for the accepted exam + counselling + other selection rounds. Selected students have to pay the admission fees to complete the process.

For admission to a two-year MBA/ PGP course at IIM Kozhikode, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who passed graduation with minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply for MBA course. However, there is a five percent relaxation for reserved category candidates and they must obtain a minimum of 55% aggregate in their final graduation. Further, candidates who do not hold any graduation degree must score minimum 50% aggregate in obtain CA/ICWA/CS to qualify for the eligibility.
