IIMC Delhi Admission Process and Important Dates 2024
Candidates willing to get admission must apply online. Admission to various courses is based on CUET PG in the “Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17)” subject which is conducted by the NTA, interview rounds, and various other criteria decided by the institution. Students must first register for the CUET exam. Then appear for the CUET exam. Afterward, appear for counselling. With the CUET scores, visit the college for admission. The aspirants can go through the NTA official website to apply for the examination. It is a national-level examination, which is conducted in a computer-based mode.
IIMC Delhi is a goverenment university which was established in 1965. Being a government institute, the fee is not very high and is made affordable by the means of the scholarships. IIMC Delhi has 80 seats in MA course, 40 for each specialisation. The institute offers seats to students basis CUET PG score. Students should confirm their seat by paying the course fee. The final selection is based on CUET-PG score and performance in the personal interview round.
Indian Institute of Mass Communication Delhi provides financial support to needy students. Half/ quarter freeships are available for each PG Diploma course on merit-cum-means basis at Delhi and all regional campuses. A committee selects the deserving candidates for the freeship. For applying for fresships, the annual household income mentioned in the application form should be supported and income certificate issued by revenue office should not be below the rank of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM).

Students who have applied for various courses at IIMC Delhi should check their admission results online. The merit list is published on the official website. Students who make it to the rank list are required to participate in the counselling round.
IIMC merit list is released after the CUET-PG entrance exam result declaration. Candidates who meet the cutoff marks and eligible for admission make it to the rank list. The merit lists released by IIMC Delhi have the following details:

Candidates had to follow the method given below to fill the CUET PG 2026 application form.
- Visit the exam portal
- Read the instructions and select the agreement checkbox, followed by clicking on the tab Click Here to Proceed
- Enter personal details
- Choose password and security question and enter captcha
- Log in with the credentials to complete the application process
- Complete the CUET PG 2026 application form by entering the information related to personal details, paper selection, exam cities and educational details
- Upload photograph and signature
- Upload realtime photograph captured through web camera
- Pay the application fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
After this, the application confirmation page will be generated, which has to be downloaded and printed.
The document should be saved till the admission process is completed. Applicants are also provided with an application correction facility to make necessary changes to the form.
Admission to IIMC Delhi PG Diploma and MA courses is now through CUET-PG conducted by NTA. Hence, students need to prepare as per the syllabus of this national-level examination. The question paper consists of 100 questions and the question paper is divided into two parts. This registration process shall be carried out after the declaration of CUET-PG application process and candidates who meet the cutoff can apply. Aspirants need to fill in the application form with details such as name, parent’s name, educational details, etc. Further, to submit the form, aspirants have to pay an application fee. The application fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking. Students should keep the receipt with them for future references.
