IIT Madras is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of B.S. in Biological Science. The requirements include:
- Candidates must have taken Mathematics as a subject and at least two subjects among Biology, Chemistry, and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.
- Admission is based on scores obtained in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) examination.
- Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998, to be eligible for the batch starting in July 2023, with five years age relaxation given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
