October 3, 2023: The 21st International Conference of MANLIBNET, with the theme "Empowering Libraries, Connecting Communities: Innovation, Collaboration, and Entrepreneurship," will be held in Ghaziabad's Institute of Management Technology. IMT Ghaziabad Commences Its Two-Year Full-Time PGDM and FPM Programme For AY 2022
July 5, 2022: The new academic year for IMT Ghaziabad's flagship PGDM programmes, including PGDM, PGDM Financial Management, PGDM Marketing, PGDM Dual Country Program (DCP), and PGDM Banking and Financial Services, has successfully begun (BFS). Following the pandemic situation of the previous two years, this year's registration and orientation process was carried out on campus with a number of activities planned to orient the new incoming students. On June 27 and 28, 2022, the registration process for the new students was held.
Dr Vishal Talwar, Director of IMT Ghaziabad, gave a cordial welcome before the formal batch inaugural and orientation ceremony began. The students were offered an overview of the ethos, heritage and values that have seen IMT Ghaziabad stand apart as a top-ranked institute in the country.
Through the pre-orientation process, IMT has provided the new students with a unique and varied experience this year. Workshops on team building and industry talk have been launched by IMT Ghaziabad. From June 29 to July 1, 2022, a special three and a half days of team-building exercises, mindfulness training, and business etiquette seminars were held.

November 17, 2021: In the midst of a pandemic of change in the education business, Institute of Management Technology continues to create records by giving great summer placements to its students. September 15, 2021: The application procedure for Admissions 2022 at the Institute of Management Technology has begun. Aspirants who will be taking the CAT 2021, XAT 2022, GMAT (Jan 1st, 2018 – Feb 28th,2022), and CMAT 2022 exams can apply for the IMT Admission Procedure 2022. IMT Commences Its Classes For Its Two-Year Post Graduate Diploma In Management (PGDM) Batch Of 2021-23 And FPM Program Of Batch 2021
August 6, 2021: Institute of Management Technology major programmes have begun their new academic session for batch 2021-23. On Monday, August 2, 2021, the new batch's foundation and orientation programme was completed online. Dr Subhajit Bhattacharyya, Director IMT Ghaziabad, Dr Rakesh Gupta, Program Chairperson, Dr Amit Sareen, Dean Academics, and Dr P K Biswas, Dean Research, all greeted the students remotely. Director IMT G Dr Subhajit Bhattacharyya welcomed the new batch of two-year PGDM 2021-23 students, saying that students should keep their minds open to explore chances even in difficult situations. He stated that while challenges and barriers were inevitable in real life, it was human nature to overcome them and be imaginative enough to generate opportunities for progress even in the most difficult conditions. When speaking to students about achieving their career goals, Dr Bhattacharyya recommended them to keep three key qualities in mind: ethics, empathy, and concern for Mother Earth.
Incoming students have previously completed a four-week preparatory module in which they were introduced to a variety of mathematical and behavioral concepts as well as pedagogical techniques that will help them cope with the demands of the upcoming programme. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the institute held classes online last year and will do so again this year for academic batch 2021. IMT will convert to a classroom model of teaching as soon as the government mandate allows it, in order to reintroduce face-to-face contacts on campus.
New Initiative for Academic Year 2021-22:
“This year, in light of the current pandemic situation and the availability of online classroom delivery, we have taken a few initiatives to deliver various experiential learning workshops such as Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship & New Venture in such a way that the flavor and objectives of these workshops are met. We want to implement an obligatory one-week immersion programme for each incoming batch student starting this year when students will visit partner universities and spend at least a week developing international exposure.”, said PGDM Programme Chairperson, IMT Ghaziabad, Dr Rakesh Gupta.

IMT Announces Commencement of First Year Classes From August 10
August 6, 2020: Institute of Management Technology is all set to commence the online classes of the first-year students from August 10. The transition to online education seems to be easy here with faculty members having prior online teaching experience since 2008 with a few external partners in the executive sector. This experience has encouraged them to transition to online education, without jeopardising the essence that students enjoy in the daily classrooms, including student mentors and exams. IMT has introduced various pedagogical modes that are common in many foreign countries.
The Institute has turned eight classrooms into a studio mode to make online teaching easier. In addition, the professors who choose to teach from their own offices will be equipped with 10 modular/mobile systems. This will help to maintain social distance with lesser students in class and at the same time streaming the course online to a few students wherever they are. The classes for the second year students have already begun from July 15 and the foundation term of the first-year students will begin from August 10.
IMT had organised pre-orientation classes for the students from July 1 to August 7 to help them familiarise with the faculty members and the management. Also, there were many webinars conducted facilitated by industry leaders to prepare young minds for corporate professions ahead.

Placements: Our college placement cell is very active. Around 99% of students are placed in many companies. Median salary goes to 16.25 LPA. Top recruitment companies are Birlasoft, HCL, American Express, and many more. More than 200 companies visit during placement season. Other than job offers, companies offer internships to students. Many students are getting jobs in this company while doing an internship. Common roles offered like consulting, IT, sales, and marketing.
Placements: Almost 100% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 65 LPA and the lowest package salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 17-18 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Marico, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc., visit the college for placements. Placements: Honestly, there is no 100% placement; they forced students to PPT up for placement so they could get the tag of 100% placement. But, in honesty, they have quality placement. In the last year, one student from college got a 55 lac package; here, the average package we can expect is 12 lacs from the first semester when companies start visiting for placements.
